Vivosun VS1000 bubblegum photo and flytraps

I won this light a while back and am finally getting time to start a journal after buying a house and moving. Don't be too judgmental of backgrounds in pictures, previous owner was a hoarder and it is a work in progress to say the least lol.

Vs1000 came in some very sturdy packaging. Two ratchet straps, glasses and a long power cord. Very nice. Note the awesome wallpaper in my closet. I need a 2x2.

Bubblegum photo in a coffee container. I think She will stay in the container until the end. Only 100 watts, so I will keep her small. Her mother tasted exactly like double bubble gum.


2 flytraps as of now. I think I see a new one popping up. I'll try to separate it. They are loving the light.

I may do a solo cup auto. Idk.

Bubblegum is doing great. Yes it is in mg. Is what it is.


Flytraps are getting color back. They have to stay in plastic, given distilled or ro water and be fed a bug at least once a month.

Hanging with my shit machines. Getting the new compost pile going. Got the flock down to 30ish birds. Had quail, Guinea fowl and pheasant but they are way too much work.

Getting some Low e insulation from a buddy today to cover the walls. Will work ok until I get a tent. All of my plants are loving life under the VS1000.

Her nodes are stacking up nicely and she's side branching already. Really like the progress so far.


Colors are really, really coming in on these two.

She's pulling thru the roasted leaves. I will top and flip her soon. Going to be a cute little thing.


Fed the one on the right, need to catch a bug for the other.

They are really, really happy under this vs1000.

Topped and flipped. She smells just like double bubble gum.


I will be pollinating the flowers on the left flytrap and growing out the seeds.

Transplanted into some recycled ffof today. Flytrap flower spike should open today or tomorrow. Added a couple clones into the room. Hoping to add some wattage soon.

Bubblegum is chugging along. Two clones in the back waiting on roots. Outdoor season soon.


Flytraps are really, really loving the Vs1000. Look at those colors.

The second flytrap has started to grow a flower spike. I've read that you can clone it by pulling the spike and poking it into some coco or moss. Might try it.
