Cool I was thinking that they were out in your garage for some reason.

The photos were of when I was building it in the shop. After painting I moved it into my bedroom. Even if someone comes over they don't go in my bedroom so safest place to put it.
The plant I think I destroyed
Put another layer of paint on the light trap to see if that helps. I noticed some places inside were still silverish.
Any thoughts to my questions? I already fed the 6 with 1/4tsp per gallon on maxibloom and 1/4 tsp of epsom salt per gallon with a little of the root stuff.

As far as when to pot up from the party cups? I usually transplant when there is a root ball large enough to hold all of the soil together when I take them out of the cups...which is around 3 or 4 weeks. Better to pot up earlier than later I would think. I should see how old my Cindy 99s are! They are in party cups and somewhere around 3 weeks.
I answered your question as far as size of the pots but I will again lol, those little ones are 5" sq. What might work better and definitely cheaper are 1/2 gal milk cartons or 2 litre sode bottles
....not a coco guy so not going to be able to help you much in that regard. I don't feed mine anything untill wk 3, theres a shitload of nutes in Ocean Forest

Mine didn't hold the coco together. That's what I liked to do before but seems people keep saying that's too long and that it's root bound when I do that. Hopefully these little guys do alright.
Thanks, some how missed that in your thread. I wasn't sure if those pans were to collect run off or if you bottom fed from the pans. I've got a ton of two liter bottles from growing tomatoes and other things in them until I could plant in ground. Those were my original intentions. The square though fit better though and aren't too expensive, just a matter of ordering them once the sog starts to fill up. With my plan I'll probably end up with Rom females getting pollinated by blueberry males just to keep things going. Whether or not I do anything with the cross seeds, who knows. If nothing else I can put them to the overgrow cause in the big city.
Good news, got the new battery for my new camera so now I can go play with it. Yall will be treated to better photos from me now. Nothing fancy here, but much better than the cell phone camera. Will see about taking some tonight

For pots you can also hit the hydro store and score a 100 sack of 1gal grow bags.....i cut em in 1/2 so there shorter and use em for 1/2gal pots sometimes...cost you about 10-14 bux for 100 bags.
Seedlings look good..i wouldnt worry to much about the droppy one...but id let all that water in the cup dry up before i watered em again...and if your gonna put em back under the lamp right away, you may wanna shake off the water on the leaf a lil bit, it can act liek a magnifying glass and cause a lil damage.

Thanks Dizzle, I'll look the next time I'm that way. Unfortunately the hydro shops are an hour away and I haven't been going that way very often anymore.
They're turning light green, my thoughts are lack of N. I'm not sure how to boost N as again, the hydro shop is so far away. I'm running the KISS method of 1tsp maxibloom per gallon.

im abit confused as to what your question is ... are you trying to figure out how much nutes to give them from seedling or from once established??
when i grow in coco if its a seedling i normally give straight water until i see the 2nd node sometimes i add a little superthrive in the water (a drop into like a gallon) then i start to slowly increase my nutes , ill start with a quater of recommended dose then once i see roots comming out the bottom of the pot ill repot and use half strength nutes for a week then a week at 3/4 strength then onto full nutes untill i see roots again then i repot again and flip to 12/12 then i give veg nutes at full dose for 1st 2 weeks of 12/12 then 3rd week of 12/12 i use half n half veg and flower nutes ... then onto full flower nutes , as soon as i see flowers stert to develop i add 1/4 strength boost and pk then build it up to full just like i didi the veg nutes .... with coco i alternate my feeds top to bottom weekly , when i top feed i always let it run off about 40 - 50 % what i put in ... you cant over water coco but you can leave your plant sat in a big messy puddle of run off lol !

I've seen those with coco run air in their nute mix so it's oxygenated when the water. I never thought about it before but I suppose that's how they keep from having drowning issues when watering daily rather than a dry cycle. When coco drys out that last bit goes quick to bone dry to kill the roots, I've made that mistake. Did you keep your nutes oxygenated before feeding with them?
The seeds are like 6 days old now. I was wondering when I should start giving nutes since the coco has 0 nutes in it. Didn't precharge with quarter strength or anything, just thorough flushing/rinsing. I ended up giving the 6 1/4 strength nutes. Two of them seem light green though like like of N. I'll post more pics in a little bit.
I've been watering them from the top now, holding them and letting them drain out over a bucket then sit on a tray. Going to look for a way to elevate the cups out of any run off.

sounds like you will be fine
if you bottom feed aswell it will help your roots grow , and your plants will only drink what they will need , the coco sucks the moisture up and the roots grow down to look for the moisture
i havnt used a air stone or pump in my nutes mix before i just have 4 x 1 gallon bottles i continuosly fill with water so the water has been sat a week or so by the time i use it , no problems yet

By bottom feed do you mean just leave them in a shallow pan or dunk the pot into water then set it back out? I did the method which anti used which was the second method there for bottom feeding. I can try the shallow pan method again, or the other, either way.

i just mean the leaving a shallow pan method , i pour abit at a time and it sucks up like a sponge if it stops being sucked up then thats enough i tip any left over mix out the pan and leave the pots to dry out , i wait until the top level of coco looks dryer in color before i feed again , normally every 2- 3 days in veg and shortening to every day when the plants bigger and going into flower if it needs it . good thing about the water farm that i just have to pour nutes mix into the top whenever i see the level getting low , nice and straight forward lol

I've been trying to figure out how to turn my cab over to hydro for that reason, just don't see how I can. Looking for containers that I can fit in there as a multiplant dwc I guess.

what about the large neoprene disks, like the ones for bubble cloners but you can get 4-6" ones ... instead of pot type things you could use those i guess

I have been trying to find a tote the right size to fit 3-5 containers side by side in there, that way I could work up nutes but so far a no go.
This is what I've found

The only difference is height on those two. I'm pretty sure I can fit one of those in there and cover the entire floor space. I would put a wood frame between the tote and lid to support the weight of the plants.
Do you think the neopreme disks would hold the weight of the plant I'd be growing in a 30in - tote height cab? or would I be better with net pots?
Whenever I get the roms sexed and get some female clones I might build a smaller tote for a prototype trial in there before it gets filled up with too many coco cups.
Edit: my thought would be to just have multiple airstones spread across the bottom of the container, pour in nute solution and let it go. Change out the water once a week or more if I find it doesn't hold enough water for the plants.

Yud deff be better off with net pots...Yeah you could build a rubbermaid tote DWC ....as far as sizes go, theres shitloads of em on here with dudes who already went thru trial n error..stop by my journal and ask there, theres a couple DWC guys that stop in now n then that would help you out there, the only exp i have is with my bubble cloner i built, asides that im a dirt devil lol..for airstones the more bubbles the better IMO ... i tried a few diff kinds...for jus water in my bubbler i like the bubble wands, they give a nice bubble mist off...the block stones work good to but i have to use two to get what i want...but if yur gonna use nutes in it then id stay clear of the wand as it gums up pretty easy.
