No that boat's in the harbour in Amsterdam. That's the marine museum in the background. We stayed on the "Amsterdam" the last time we visited. Cold again today, only predicting 5 degrees...sigh...

Spent a lot of the weekend tinkering aout in my gardens. Adding new compost trimming things down raking etc and i took some pics of some of the early shoots coming up.

I think I may have lost one of my alphine clematis. It had cute little bell shaped flowrs and I only had one of them:(

Hey Lacy...nice to see you enjoying your garden :)

I can't wait for these final overnight frosts to go in the UK, just a couple more weeks.

I have BIG plans for my garden this year. BIG plans for a small garden. If it produces something I can harvest, I'm growing it, well I'm gonna try anyway. Potatoes, strawberries, carrots, beans, chillis, tomatoes, cucumber, lettuces, broccoli etc, etc. Just waiting on delivery of all my seeds, then I can get things started in my friends greenhouse.

I don't have space for a veggi plot or anything like that, so everything is going in pots/planters and hanging baskets and I've had to choose F1 hybrid vegtables which have been breed smaller for patio/balcony/pot growing. Never done anything like this before, my gardening experience to date is strictly indoor! ;) I'm very excited about it all though.

Thanks for stopping by and sharing.
Yes I love to garden just about anything. I find gadening most enjoyable and relaxing. I am totally in my comfort zone while gadrening:D

I wouldn't let the fact that you don't have a plot of land discourage you. I have seen some real dynomo deck gardens that are to die for. Just beautiful. The options to gardening are limitless unless you have no imagination or creativity.

Some people even will rent out plots of land. You might even want to check that out. I know it doesn't cost a lot and is well worth the yearly deposit to keep your lot.

You will have a lot of fun and it really adds to the growing experience.
I think members here that understand the concept of good growig to begin with do so much better with their weed grows. It all helps.

Its been gorgeous here the last few days so I have been taking advantage of it and getting some much needed work done in my many gardens. With just jeans and a t-shirt. Oh happy days.:hump:

I've been cutting down all the dead vines off my clematis and I look down and notice all these holes around one of the roots. :o Its one of my favourites. a Dr. rupple and I don't know if it is going to make it or not.

I'm not sure exactly what it is but I do know that we have this HUGE snake :o that lives underneath our back dead.

Its not that I am scared of snakes but this one is about 4 feet long.
It has a limey green body with thin racing stripes along its back and every once in a while its sticks its head out and waggs it tongue at me. Like I am ruining HIS day. :?

Ha i just noticed I called the snake a him. :blsmoke: I suppose it could very well be a female. I've seen another smaller one like it around.
I hope they are not making baby snakes underneath my deck otherwise there is going be trouble.

No that I know what I am going to do about except scream.
Damn snakes.:evil::twisted:
