Hey, she talking to youse guys.good monday morning losers!
What have you managed to accomplish already today loser?good monday morning losers!
Hey, she talking to youse guys.
I imagine the losers are OK.
I, myself, am Grrrrrrrrreeaaat! Thanks for asking. And you?
contemplating cool tube vs. mini-split debate..need to make a decision. What have you managed to accomplish already today loser?
mini splits ain't that mini in terms of electric consumption or cost.Well mini-split is a little A/C, that you don't need to make a foam box for.
But, Cool Tube is the air casing around the light bulb.
I'm gonna say, that is not a decision. You will need both.
my norml chapter hooked me up with someone to stop by and assess.mini splits ain't that mini in terms of electric consumption or cost.
if you can get rid of that hot air from the light quick enough, then importing ambient air should keep things below 80. this depends on the rest of the house being climate controlled given the miami area.
you can even put the air cooling for the lights on its own loop so that it need not be carbon filtered.
then all you need to worry about is carbon filtering the stinky air.
Wow! That is a job for me! Let us know how it works out.my norml chapter hooked me up with someone to stop by and assess.
i may even just be able to tap into current a/c with vent install in that bathroom.
only way i would modify an apartment like that is if i could make it look seamless, like it had been there all along.my norml chapter hooked me up with someone to stop by and assess.

It scares the shit out of me and I'm in a legal state. I used to tell myself, I'll get a 24 hr notice if they want to come in. Last month the apartment above me had a pipe burst, and they came in anyway.man, now i remember why i don't miss apartment growing at all.
I suggested swapping out the door before she had a guy come and cut a huge square hole in it. (I seriously doubt she got permission from the landlord for this modification).only way i would modify an apartment like that is if i could make it look seamless, like it had been there all along.
otherwise, if there is AC in the apartment, i would use that to feed cool air from down low into the room, air cool the light on a separate loop, and suck out the rest of the warm/stinky air with a powerful fan/carbon filter combo up high.
could all be done by hanging a new door and outfitting it with the right duct connections. if you get an inspection, just swap out the doors and hide the new one under a bed. stash everything else in a box, and pray that the plants are not at maturity when they come.

is that what happens when your 15 minutes is up on hollywood squares?..politics?Victoria Jackson has lost the election...forthe TennesseeWilliamson County Commissioner.
Perhaps if she wore a rubber boot on her head, she may have gotten 2nd place.
i've seen insulated bag for the reflectors..kinda like a pizza bag..for IR.AC on 115v house current is really a power hog.
The problem with a light like that, and mine is water cooled, you can't get rid of the infrared radiation. For me that is about 20% of the light after the water. I don't know the IR loading for an air cooled light.
Plainly put, the light is radiating, the air, walls and floor, etc. We can't see it. It is not visible light.
I have foil bubble wrap on the walls a white plastic sheeting draped loosely from the ceiling.
But, my main thing that I run, is the whole house AC.
I've not found out if she has a whole building AC vent in that space. But, I don't think so.
I have a big floor fan in the hallway to blow the cold air from the floor into the bathroom so the hot air is forced out the top half of the door way.
So, all things carefully considered,
- I would go with the cool tube setup and begin the intake at an AC vent, run the output over to whatever place possible. THe best is the return air for the building.
- Get a high vol, high velocity floor fan.
To add the cold air from the floor.
Then maybe you don't need the Split for $1000. Spend that on getting the building AC pushed into the space with fans and cool tube.
