We want equal opportunities for everyone. Being a privileged white boy from Cali, I can see how you've lost sight of this.
Not everyone deserves an equal opportunity.

Yes I know him. I have no problem with self made men and women. They could pay their fair share of taxes. The vast majority of the ultra wealthy are NOT self made. You know who James Dyson is, right?
He literally built his company with his own hands...
Naturally a massive failure would be jealous of success, not all wealthy people are the massive assholes you make them out to be.
NonsenseNot everyone deserves an equal opportunity.
The more I unpack this subject, the more myths and misconceptions I run into about how people got so rich and how much they 'deserve' it, and therefore the rest of us 'deserve' to be poor.Nonsense
You're a bitch....still running scared of jj or what? Not everyone deserves an equal opportunity.
Of course they don't. More often than not, I've personally found that the people that make up the top earners or top wages generally have a pretty sympathetic view of poverty and income inequality.. Yet our critics would have you believe we hate rich people because they're rich.. I don't hate anyone because they're rich. Why would I? There is nothing inherent with being rich that I believe is wrong, aside from the fact that if enough people become so rich, so quickly, they take away from the potential quality of life of those that are on the opposing end of the obscene accumulation of capitalistic wealth. One thing I can say for certain, having personally met many millionaires, a few billionaires and members of such families, is that THEY sure as fuck don't believe it!
Many if not most of them would be happy to pay more taxes- as long as they can be sure the money actually goes to do good work, instead of propping up a monstrous military machine or subsidizing the biggest and most successful of mega corporations.Of course they don't. The only people that actually believe it are inhumane minorities.. actual deplorables
I agree. Just like most other issues, it comes down to quantity over quality.. How would the American government reacted to the attack on Pearl Harbor? Addressed slavery, Jim Crow, civil rights? Women's suffrage? ..without a strong federal government? Many if not most of them would be happy to pay more taxes- as long as they can be sure the money actually goes to do good work, instead of propping up a monstrous military machine or subsidizing the biggest and most successful of mega corporations.
I don't want 'less' government, I want 'better' government. So do the rich.
of courseThere's a difference between rich and greedy.
You're a bitch....still running scared of jj or what?
Because you tried to set him up.
Because you tried to set him up.
he told me you did.Kind of funny, he's never told me that.
he told me you did.
so did about a dozen other members.
so did about a dozen other members.
i wouldn't call it OK that a dozen members all described to me how you tried to rat them out, or did.
