Warming up the stalk with water right after cutting and before drying/curing

Question:

My friend told me right after cutting and before turning to:

Boil water...take off and let cool about 15 min (depending on how big the pot.. 3 gallon pot here). Put the root end in for 1-2 min. Just long enough to warm up the fluid... this slightly heats up the veins to flower better and everything can make it out before drying in for good.

Then let the whole plant start her drying/curing process. This does not speed up the curing process (which i think needs to be long for a
smoother taste) but takes what normally staying in the stalk and pushes it into the flowers.

I have done this a few times and think it helps. A few friends do and believe the same thing.... but i have had others who tried it and could not tell the difference
( 1 hit pot just baked them anyways lol)

So i put it out there to other friends

Has anyone else tried this?

Having worked at a florist/ nursery when I was young, I remember always telling the people buying cut flowers to mix the little preservative envelope with warm to very warm water, to help uptake into the plants, and I remember taking cut Baby's Breath, smashing the ends of the stems, then putting in a bucket of the hottest tap water we had with a few drops of bleach to make them as white as possible, so I believe if you did this to cannabis, it would do exactly the opposite of what you are thinking, (to have as little fed nutes in the bud as possible, right?).

Then you end up with much more water to have to dry out.

Doesnt sound very logical to me at all. I let mine dry before I cut it.

You make a point with the nutes. It was done with a flushed plant so i believe it was clean... thats what i was told to do.
I believe when flushed for the amounted time only whats in the stem will be pushed out. It does keep the flowers damp longer but i can not figure out if thats good. I feel the longer the cure the better the quality... but then again thats only a opion.
I know mom always told me to re-cut the flower stems under water to keep air bubbles from going into the flower. By putting the root in the pot, this keeps the plant from ever getting the air bubbles till it does not matter anymore.
Then again i am 50 and what use to work back in the day does not always work now.The herb was good so after 1 hit i was stoned and thought it was great.. lolbongsmilie

I (think) it made the sugar leaves higher in potency.
I made a batch of...candy..cookies..brownies and oils and people seemed to really like it that way... but it was good herb too.

When i started growing in the mid 70's the strains then or the ones we made have no comparison to the amount out there now. So i have learned to put it out there now.
Then it was a bad thing to have any record of you and ur business and was always and still is a NEED TO KNOW... but i am really thankful for the videos lol

Im pretty sure your contradicting yourself. Its hard to understand what your saying through the poor english though.
Does it "flower better and everything can make it out before drying in for good" or does it "take what normally staying in the stalk and pushes it into the flowers"?

Sorry.

Seems to be cut and dry english maybe needs to be refrased for you.

I did not say it flowers better.. i said it keeps the flowers damp longer... ... i and a few others believe it pushes out what would normally be left in the stalk when dried

And like i said i do not know it does seem to be very helpful in the potency

So sorry if i was not clear enough.
