Ok, so at my summer house I have, well how do i describe it, let's just say I get my water with a pump from down the earth :D
Now, I have changed the filters, but the water is slightly yellow. The question is, can I use it for my outdoor grow?

If you use it to drink its fine for your plants ive heard well water is the best because its got some trace elements in its from the rocks and stuff it passes through when it hits the earth and sinks down through the ground. Im gonna use my well out at the farm ive heard from a few different providers that have greenhouses and spots set up for there big plants and they use well water and there buds great. I would check it tho as far as ph and the tds. The great thing about well water is that it has no chlorine in it like tap water or bottled water.

sounds good, but what does it mean if, when the water is used in toilet, it leaves like rust and orange color residue?
That's not a probelm for plants right?

My water turns everything orange...you just never have to worry about an iron deficiency...but it won't hurt the plants.

I'd be careful. Water that you drink will be more damaging to a plant than it will be to you. Well water also often has bacteria or fungus spores/colonies in it. If your water is not pristine you can get an RO filter or a rainwater collector. I would also suggest you test the EC and pH of the water. Also, know that over the course of the the rain index changes, meaning that your tds may differ from one season to the next. Keep an eye on it if you don't filter it further.

so the plants in the wild drink RO water?

i use well water daily, i drink it and my plants drink it straight out of the tap. no offense but using bottled and RO water is a waste of time and or money unless your city water is so contaminated with chlorine/chloromine (spelling) thet its not sensible to use, but even chlorine evaps.

i would have your water checked but i doubt its going to hurt anything its just rain water. look where your well is. if there are plants growing chances are their drinking that same water.

Well I have grown raspberries there and they were some of the best I had eaten in my life. :)
Plants grow good there, so I'm sure it'll be good.
