Don't. At least until the surface is dry, Over watering is a classic seedling killer..

How much/ how often should I be watering seedlings that are about 6 days old. Been in soil for 6 days that is. Thanks :joint:
keep the soil moist and not drowned. if you feel you must water just water a little down the main stem, JUST A LITTLE and just keep the soil MOIST.

Always remember that the soil can be a little dry and still be livable for the seeds but a little too wet and its game over.

good to know.. also how long does it take for the second third fourth etc. set of adult leaves. the plants are 7 days in soil now and only have very small indications of the second set of adult leaves. there like just starting to come in perpendicular to the first set of serrated leaves

Man that varies with every strain. I saw my second full set in about a week. When mine were seedlings, I kept them in a solo cup too. I used about a quarter cup of water every couple days.
