"I agree! Although I do eat fish, cheese, and eggs I don't agree with consuming baby anything. The eggs I eat are unfertilized embryos and IMO are not babies " ___End Quote

The weather has finally been consistently nice around my area this year :) Good thing too, I'd like the girls to finish strong. I'm hoping this is the summer we didn't get

Lots of shots of Big Blue as I'm diggin her beauty. She's turning purple on her tips which I'm hoping is the beginning of a lot of lovely purple hues:weed:

Check out the captions for descriptions and enjoy

Weird, I'm not sure if everybody got the joke. Didn't mean to stir up a philosophical debate regarding veal. Figured everyone would understand and/or recognize that phrase. Must be my age. In any event, Looking Good Weedoozie!

Do you recommend I try a little cinnamon on my Blueberry? It could use a boost in flavor. Kinda like a blueberry cinnamon muffin.

Personally, I think adding (organic) ground cinnamon is great but only if it will compliment the natural flavors of the bud. Personally, I haven't tried adding cinnamon to a blueberry strain before but I don't think it would be bad! I say if you have some ground cinnamon around, sprinkle a little on top of a bowl of blueberry and see how you like it yourself. That's the advice bigcheese gave me and I found I really liked the taste on my buds so perhaps you will on yours as well

And it's all good about the joke, I got it and I think the others did too :) + it sparked a conversation that revealed a little bit more about each of us which I think is a good thing

Yeah, I picked up on the loaded language but I thought, what the hell, sounds plausible! Cinnamon is used in a variety of dishes for a little extra flavor, why not on a bowl of flowers? I'm glad I did too! It's a great way to give a not-so-good tasting/smell herb a nice, complimentary cinnamon flavor.
Definitely a good learning experience thanks to you man, and also thanks for the rep attempt :)

Yep, everyone on this thread is pretty laid back despite their beliefs. Nice. I've never had veal, and haven't given much thought about eating it. I agree that animals are a resource for us to consume. I hunted small game as a kid. I would only hunt and kill an animal for the purpose of eating what I killed. I did it the other day with the fish I caught in the bay (shameless plug for my food thread).

But farm raised cattle/livestock/whatever, is a bit different. They depend on us for their survival. If you haven't seen it already, check out the movie entitled "Temple Grandin". It's about an autistic woman who invents a more humane method of slaughtering cattle. Excellent movie. But I remember a quote from her that basically went like: "They are being raised solely for the purpose of being killed and eaten by us . . . they deserve our respect".

For all of those who have followed my progress through my 1st grow to this one, here are pictures of the bubble hash I turned Fedora's buds into today as she was a hermaphrodite. I'm pleased as this will last me some time and it will be a lot stronger than the buds were

It's drying for at least 24 hours on a piece of cardboard so by tomorrow afternoon, I'll be able to test it out

Thanks cruzer! Now all that's troubling me is where/how to dry these women...
How about a box, I use a box and some fishing line. cut some slits in the to side of the box and run the line through and hang them on that. It makes a nice little portable way to go.

Lol thanks cruzer! I thought this would be the way I'd have to go. Do you by chance have a wind current through the box with like a fan or something or do you just let them dry naturally hung in there with the top open like that? I wonder how long it would take for them to dry nicely without wind...?

Homegrowngurl, you're going to need an entire BARN to hang up all your girls to dry! Got barn?

Well well well...3 weeks I think for the growing girls to ripen up, though I think I'll let the GDP family go until they're fully ready as they were the late comers. Big Blue is turning purple on the tips of her leaves as you can see in some of the pictures of her. I really hope the purple spreads because I LOVE purple looking flowers  I'm sure she'll be fine no matter what though, Big Blue is my pride and joy this season

I included pictures of G.G's clone mother bud shots to see what she's like as well as some of Fedora that I mostly turned into bubble hash. I did keep about 1/8 of fedora just to remember her by as she was my 1st baby in a red party cup.

G.G's mother's buds are too precious to me to turn into hash at this point, I love their taste and smell too much! Plus, they work just fine in bud form whereas Fedora's was a little weak. I think Fedora's buds are weaker because she was a hermi...but I'm not exactly sure. I'm going to test the bubble hash tonight, I think it's dry!
