you got a couple shipping containers i could store all those stacks of boxes? :)
No, I dont think this is down you alley gurl. Like doozie said a barn or garage is probably what you will need.

Lol thanks cruzer! I thought this would be the way I'd have to go. Do you by chance have a wind current through the box with like a fan or something or do you just let them dry naturally hung in there with the top open like that? I wonder how long it would take for them to dry nicely without wind...?

Homegrowngurl, you're going to need an entire BARN to hang up all your girls to dry! Got barn?
Yea the smaller colas will dry fine in that. The size in there didnt need a fan but I have had larger batches where I needed to point a fan across the top of the boxes to help them finish. I just figured it would be an option for ya. worked for me.

way to go on the hash Doozie, i just made some last month with all my trimmings and little buds.. it was great..

also about your drying discussion, if you have room for it i made some cool hammocks using window screen that cuts drying time by a couple days.. i still hang my big colas leaf and all. but all the small buds get trimmed and removed from stems b4 going on the hammock..

Great idea man, that's actually an easy possibility for me

you dont want it to dry too fast. its a game of patience. give it the proper enviroment and wait. nothing sucks more then when your buds turn to dust when you beak it down to smoke.
That's kind of what happened to my 1st harvest so I get what you mean. I think if I hang screen hammocks up without a fan pointed at them but rather just circulating the air in the room they're in, it will be a better option...
Any other input is welcome!

yea you never want to put a fan directly on them the outside wil dry to fast and the inside will stay moist.

well weedoozie you didnt say you were a female, thats awesome, i think theri needs to be more female growers out theri.
any ways your plants are lookin great for your second grow they seem to be fattening up nice and they still look very healthy from the looks of things. and as far as drying well i just hang mine on close hangers and throw them into the closet in the dark with a fan on low circulating air but not blowing on them. well im subbed and lookin forward to the rest of the grow.

yea fan directly on buds are bad for drying but good to circulate the air in the room.. i set up a fan and a heater to keep 75 degree air blowing all around room but not direct

Yup, exactly what happened to the main cola on my hermi Fedora from 1st grow. Thanks for the confirmation, won't make that mistake again :)

lol thanks for the compliments and yes, I think I will just dry them in my closet again but without a fan pointed at them, maybe just pointed at the wall inside the closet to move the air around in there...
Glad to have your aboard

Yup, learned that lesson and lucky for me, my house stays at a constant 75 degrees and 45% humidity

Not too many pictures today but some. It is HOT AS HELL OUTSIDE. 101 degrees at it's peak today, down to 96 degrees now. I think it's because there's very little wind today when usually, there's a lot. It's the sticky kind of hot today and I personally don't like it. My indicas are not to fond of the hot weather either. I poured some cold water on the greenhouse floor to help cool the place down and to bring up the humidity as it was at 10% when I got home from school today around 1:30pm. I've been watering all the indica dominants every day of this heat about 1/4 gallon. It's been hot like this for about 5 days now and the indica's are not liking it too much, all have slowed their growth but THC production is up  They are shiny like diamonds

I made it rain today on the GDP family and Big Blue as they looked thirsty and 1/4 gallon didn't seem like enough. GDP's got 1 gallon each today (looked really thirsty) and Big Blue got about 1 1/2 gallons. There is noticeable growth on all the plants but definitely not as fast. I'm still thinking like October 18th for harvest...that would give the girls a little less than 3 weeks to finish up  I'm so excited!

I'm going to SoCal for Halloween weekend and I'd like to take some of my homegrown with me :weed: I might end up dancing my ass off at Hard and having a medical buzz would be necessary:)

Let me know what you think!

ya i just had a fan below pointed at the wall and it made justa slight wind on the drying buds, just enough to prevent it from molding. took about 6 days to fully dry but it was winter to and the house was in the 60s

Thanks man, yeah, I used some black gold for each plant but I mixed a bunch of different organic mediums together including Happy frog, the Black Gold, Root's Organic Compost 707 mix, as well as extra seabird guano, fine bone meal, and a little bit of perlite which is working out spectacularly for me

sounds good, it looks like you used the the black gold that has nutes in it, i use the black gold coco mic with perlite added and it works out very well for me, your mix sounds good, how long before you had to start feeding nutes.

Didn't until 2 weeks into flowering and now I only feed them 1 time per week which has been working well

I think I'm going to do a mini flush starting Oct. 12th-17th and harvest on the 18th for Big Blue/maybe GDP's as well depending on how far along they are at that point. Probably earlier for G.G's clone...I think I'll start her mini flush in a week

I think the recent heat wave has caused some of the newer leaf sets on Big Blue to curl/twist...but I guess it's not that big of a deal...

I feel it coming...weathers going to stay within the 75-85 degree range for the rest of the week and then probably cooler weather...
