Hockey was great fun. Think they've got themselves a new fan.
No fights but a couple of close calls. Our keeper got done for having a stick outwith regulation size? The crowd went wild and then we all voted him man of the match via txt. Democracy at work.lol
Here in Canada, watching the junior level hockey games are the best. The players are being scouted for the NHL and their farm teams which means everyone plays hard and fast, I personally find them more enjoyable to watch because the lack of ego's and it's not a job for them yet...they still play for the love of the game.
There will be a "enforcer" or two on every team and their job is to keep the "talent" from being hurt. Though it isn't in the rule book as a must have, it's still a big part of the game so there will be fights...game on!
