Weird thought.. if music can cause such inspiration and creativity, can it also elicit such..

...destruction like Columbine?

I pose this question just to hear your guys' opinions.. Nothing too serious..

For me, some of the music I hear in my life creates true avenues of inspiration. I hear something and immediately think of something else.. The passion also plays a part. People who are passionate about the things they produce usually reflects in my ability to like them or not. Eminem, dude is completely passionate about everything he produces, that's why he is the greatest rapper of our decade, hands down.

It gives me passion and reminds me of the change people can cause by simply using words. It reminds me of the power we all can have, if we so wanted it..

Do violent people gravitate toward certain music or are inspired by it? I forget its power to uplift and ground out stress.

Music is the best and worst parts of us. It is everything we ever wanted. It's everything we hate about ourselves. It's the reason why we do fucked up shit to each other. It's the reason we can reach out and connect with others. It's the reason we want to punch those others in the fucking mouth. It's beautiful. It's unpredictable. It's why I'm still alive today. Music is hope. Hope keeps assholes alive.

But some people just don't get it.
