Opeth is alright. Not my fav tho
Yeah. I get it. Their sound is pretty specific so it's a hit or miss for a lot of people. I like to maintain that whatever bends your earballs is really individualistic. Pretty much the ideal for Metal as a whole when all is said and done.

Lol Astrocreep was my fav album. Lots of sexual innuendos, mixed with dark stuff. I'm a huge horror fan so it's right up my alley. Just seen Rob zombie for the first time on the freaks on parade tour with Alice Cooper and Ministry. He was....meh. Ministry and Alice Cooper were awesome though!!!! Loved white zombie but Rob zombie was too mainstream for me. Don't get me wrong few good songs here and there but ..ya

I liked Astrocreep, but La Sexorcisto will always be quintessential White Zombie to me. Wouldn't say I hated his solo stuff, just somehow didn't really do much of anything for me.

I remember my 'goth' cousin got me into white zombie. She gave me this album...which is the one I still own to this very day. She was a big influence on my metal career, aside from my degenerate friends who opened my eyes to Pantera.....
Before the internet and all its 'glory' music was generally introduced to me by other people, or going to shows and seeing diff bands I never heard of. A big thing for me was collecting concert bills, and investigating the bands on said bills.
Also much music (Canada) and 'the wedge' or the metal program. I can't remember what it was called. Heavy something...? Also Beavis and butthead..... That's where I was introduced to gwar

Man I used to looove deftones. I've seen them so many times.... I once crowd surfed right beside Chino, when he went out into the crowd. I was so pumped. He grabbed my hand. I felt so special. Lmao. Ahhh man the good old days. I kicked my gf in the head crowd surfing that day and didn't know until after the show when she gave me my shoe back. I'm still with the same woman to this very day. What a doll

I had Lajon from Sevendust surfing right over top of me in a small club, but my fat ass wasn't even gonna try that shit. They'd drop me.
I always started it up. You just tap someone's shoulder and give em the thumbs up kinda pumping your thumb to the sky. By the time you know it you're surfing on-top of everyone. Def got ball punched some. I wouldnt recommend chicks doing it as some guys were 'grabby'

Yeah, mine, too. I was always a weird kid for my area. In elementary school when everyone else was listening to Michael Jackson or whatever garbage country was playing, I was jamming out to WASP and Motley Crue. Which apparently made me a "satanist" to some. Fuckin' muggles.

I loved being obscure and an outcast. Still do. My folks def thought there was something wrong with me ..... I mean they weren't wrong. Lmfao.
Remember the good old days where a chick would jump up on a guys shoulders and just pop her tits out and flash the crowd? Like every concert I went to I'd see min 3-4 sets. I miss that. They should bring that back.
I'll get the petition started
