why is marijuana illegal? anybody know? because it cant be taxed or controlled or maybe its because it will bring to much peace in this world? maybe because its a great med with very few side effects? idk nobody knows but the government. all i know is im tierd of sitting by and haveing people think im crazy because i know the truth. what can i do? protest, start riots, and give speachs? all that would do is make the government want to kill me like others who stuck up for whats right. right now im on diversion for smokeing marijuana. i have piss test offten so now i cant even use it for my anxiety. im inraged and i think its time pot heads stop sitting on there fucking asss and we need to start fighting for whats right instead of haveing everything takein from us for smokeing a harmless plant!

marijuana was made illegal for racist and greedy reasons, it never should have happened. it is time to change federal laws and legalize marijuana starting at the state level, beginning nov 2 in California

Yep, for those that took the time to find out the real history behind marijuana they would agree with this.

From what I've read. the initial push was racial reasons, the preceding push was from greed, mostly DuPont and William Randolph Hearst. I already voted yes on 19.

Marijuana is illegal because cotton farmers didn't want the compitition and they used the fact that many early users were black and mexican to help create a negitive public image now I think it is mostly big pharmacudical companies who want it illegal and law enforcment and rehabilitation centers and private prisons who make money from the prohibition. Get into politics go to town hall meetings city counsel meetings. speak to people make your thoughts on marijuana known. vote and vote no on 19 tax and controll marijuana if you live in cali.

prop 19? i dont live in cali but one thing i know about that is you can only grow in a 5x5 area? why would any pot grower want that?

It's only the idiot medical growers wanting to vote no and bash prop 19. Do a search for their started threads. You'll quickly see why they are against it. Profit. Fear that they will lose money because marijuana will be more readily available for those without a medical card. They're selfish pricks that don't deserve to live in California. They also come up with every excuse under the sun to vote no. Some even go to the extreme and make up complete bullshit.

Because under current law you can only grow in a 0x0 area, and you can only possess 0 ounces, and you can only smoke pot in 0 places. Are you really as dumb as your post suggests?

i agree they need to legalize but the government makes so much more money off it being illegal but look at it this way. if it was legal then all those big time pot distributers would have any income only if they had a license to grow and distribute but fuck the govt. they just dont think like us

It's 25sq ft, there is no where in the prop where it says you have to build a box that is 5x5. 25sq ft is the law, which is quite a lot when you use your brain and think about it. Hell of a lot more than 0sq ft.

like i stated smart ass i dont live in cali and dont know much about the prop 19. and if you didnt notice i was asking a question so whos the dumb one? this place seems to be full of smart ass's. now befor someone goes off about that, just some people are. what ever happend to the peace that comes along with marijuana?

i read somewhere on RIU it was 5x5 but prolly just a type o.

this makes sense to me. if i was in cali i would have a mmj card but i would still vote yes because its a big step tords marijuana bein legal in the u.s.a

Yea, I don't live in Cali either, on the other coast. I'd vote yes for prop 19 and would have a mmj card. They are being selfish pricks, they should move to a state where it's completely illegal and see how they like it after a few years.

It probably wasn't a typo. It was most likely from one of the prop 19 bashers making up shit to make it look bad.
