What can you do if the cops come nocking?

I was watching the movie yesterday called NEVER GET BUSTED. There they said never answer the door if its a cop because they are probably just doing surveilance trying to catch you, If they have warrant they will bust your door down right away so dont answer the door. If you do answer the door unknowingly they will say "i smell marijuana" even if they dont so that they will trick you into you saying you have plants. In the movie the one guy let in the cop and the cops prettended they were friends saying that if he has only like 20 plants its no big deal because they are looking for the guys with 100+ so he told them that he had plants because they threatened to put his wife in prison. He showed them the small grow op and they took all the stuff out of the house. When it was all taken out the dude thought it was over but instead he got taken to jail anyways.

And if they don't have a warrant and you do answer the door don't let them in. Don't step out the door either or they can detain you. I had a friend get called on by his brother in law who reported a meth lab around kids so they would investigate and there was nothing to do with meth but 19 plants and 5oz of mushrooms. They told him they would hold him there til they got a warrant, I would have slammed the door in their face and told em to get a warrant...then I would trash everything...cut up and flush it...but never consent to search or let them in your house and don't step outside either.

cops are oppurtunist.. they love to kick in doors and be excessive as fuck. If they have something on you, you will know because they will be knocking with a battery ram.. not their hand. don't answer the door, don't talk to them, don't believe what they say. PERIOD.

so bascilly its the same tips, do it legal, if you cant dont let anyone know and never answer the door for the cops, i have learned in my experence dont have people around that will have the cops brought around either, my buddy who wasnt doing it so leagal had a girl around that got the cops called they ended up coming in the house and it should of been her to go to jail or at least had to of left the house, but because of the plants they left her alone and took him to jail, she was left in his house will all his things and the cops took his plants, but the time it was all over he ad lost bail money had to deal with court and lost all his plants

Don't trust anybody, especially cops. They will do or say anything to get a lousy criminal put in jail. If a cop ever came to my door,If they don't have any type of warrant then don't answer the door at all. if they did have a warrant paper then I would begin sending my plants through the sink/garbage disposal branch by branch. Try to crush your plant up as best as possible so they can't get you with mature plants.

Pile drive them and stomp them into the soil if they're busting down your door. A mushed up plant buried in soil probably won't hold up in court

Invest in a carbon scrubber and ona gels. Possibly an ozone.

I dont know about the not answering the door theory. If they know youre home(they will) and you dont answer then that right there is probably cause for a warrant. Atleast in my backwards conservative state. And a bunch of 5 gallon buckets worth of soil (if you chop) is pretty much the same as if the plants were still in them. Atleast in my neck of the woods. Youre not going to be able to say you were growing tomatoes. Yea, you could probably spend 15k for a lawyer and get off, but how many of us have 15k laying around.

But im thinking if the cops are coming to feel you out and youre halfway intellegent why not walk out and chat it up with them and try and sound legit. I dont know though.

True.. if they find a setup with soil and broken off stalks they could at least still get you for conspiracy. If you must answer the door then the best way to do it is get between them and the door, step outside and shut the door behind you... do not ever let them come or invited themselves in your house... they'll try to kind of step forward and say do you mind if come in (have had it happen.. not marijuana related though), inviting themselves but they need your consent. Also, they can try to trick you by saying they smell marijuana and shit like that to get in (happen to a buddy of mine, not marijuana related but they knew from someone else that he used and were trying to use that information to get a foot in the door). ultimately you just need to stand your ground and watch what you say (don't imply things and don't try to talk yourself out of anything because they will twist what you say in reports... happened to me). Don't be defensive with them because if they really want to they can get dirty and charge you with things for with no evidense. The last time i had a run in with the police like that ( this is not marijuana related at all but it relates to the police in general) i was charged with a felony based on heresay. It cost me a lot of time and money going through the system and paying for an attorney but it was ultimately dismissed. The first thing my lawyer did was laugh and say that i must have really pissed them off when i talked to them because they charged my with a felony with out any concrete evidence, just what one person said even though a lot of people said different and vouched for me. either way, my name was on record and i spent almost a year going to court once a month until the states attorneys election period was over and they got re elected. The prosecutor basically said that the states attorney was just trying to hold an image during election time of not letting anyone off and once re elected made a lot of decisions to drop cases that were bogus. The law can be really messed up.

What about answering from a front window?

Just take your clothes off, wet your hair, wrap yourself in a towel. Then open a window and ask who it is. If they tell you to come to the door tell them you were in the shower and all wet and they have to speak at the window.

This solves a few things.

1 - They don't get easy access to walk inside.
2 - It lets them see inside the house which should somewhat satisfy them.
3 - doesn't make you look guilty by NOT answering the door
4 - They can still use the "smell something" excuse but how would they get in? So they most likely wouldn't pull that crap either.
5 - If you have a cool girlfriend and she got a pair of balls on her, let her talk to the cops from the window wrapped in a towel. Her hair all wet and stuff. Most cops would forget about why they even came over.


I'm sure there are other ways to deal with it but the window has to be an alternative to opening the door.

Well it all depends on the cops in your area. Like one time I was growing 2 plants and the cops came knocking and said that they were tipped off that there is marijuana growing in the premises. So I came clean about it and they just took the plants and let me go. It all depends.

if your doing your job there will be no smell ,why would the feds have suspicion unless you have a big yap,keep your mouth shut ,do dilligance ,and they wont knock,dont wheel out your gate ,

also if the feds want in, a simple kidnapping call to the feds hotline gets them in,or if they heard screams there in,just do your job so they cant do theirs

common man that's terrible advice and you know it. i cant believe you would actually post that! because a couple of crooked cops wanted a few plants for their own basement you suggest that we should come clean with the police!?!?! no one listen to this advice for your own safety

you broke all the cardinal rules!

1. you talked to them
2. you let them in
3. you believed what they said
4. you admitted to growing

the only thing that saved your ass was that those pigs were dirty as hell!

never let them in, never admit to anything. this goes for being in your car as well.

Couldn't of said it better myself. Don't open the door, and if they knock it down keep your mouth shut. They say flat out "ANYTHING YOU SAY CAN AND WILL BE USED AGAINST YOU IN A COURT OF LAW", so don't give them any ammunition to use against you. Personally.... My home is my castle and if ANYONE breaks in looking to do harm to me or my family they will be meet with full resistance.

my problem with legal grows is you tell them right where to find you. even if you are legal and legit they can still fuck with you by throwing you into the court system which forces you to get a lawyer. ya, your case might get tossed out but not before you spend 5-10 grand on your lawyer. and then its "OH SHIT I CANT PAY RENT/MORTGAGE!" and you get kicked out. so even though they didn't throw you in jail they did ruin your setup and get you thrown out of your place, effectively shutting down your operation and turning you into a social pariah. hopefully you didn't get fired from your job while this was all going on but more than likely you did.

this is why i will remain underground until the feds make it legal.

It will be medically legal here soon. Still not gonna trust those troll cocksuckers with knowing anything, until it's legal on the Fed level.
