What deficiency/problem is this?

I'm thinking nitrogen deficiency, but the brown spotting is kinda throwing me off, maybe calcium/magneisum deficiency? Let me know what you think.

well if the ratio of nutrients fed is at a ratio where there is a buildup of an element, it will change pH and show a toxicity .

that brown spotting could be a phosphorus deficiency, and the nitrogen deficiency makes it unable to intake the other elements , has caused the lower leaves to show the deficiency.

i think it's wrong ratio of nutrient feed. overfertilization will cause this because the buildup of salts throw the pH and lockout the rest of stuff, thats why you see purple stems there.

what nutrients do you use and what are the NPK ratios they have?
also is that dirt? what kind? how big of containers?

The strain is purple cream. I use Nectar For the Gods nutrient line with Coco Connoisseur soil. I've just been following what the nuts line says(they gave samples to multiple growers to come up with the Ph and nutrient ratios) and the Ph says between 5.8-6.2, I've had it around 6. They're in 5" plastic containers right now, will be transplanting to 3 gallons soon. The nutes line is a little confusing because the the NPK ratios aren't just high in specific ones such as just really high in Nitrogen. It's made to use a variety of each together. As for overfeeding them, I haven't seen any signs of nutrient burns or curling leaves. I have 30 plants and only about 5-8 look lil this, they're all the same strain as well.

Since only 8 outta 30 look like that, I would suggest tinkering with the feeding of those specific 8 plants...give half the 8 a lower recommended dose, and the other half give more, especially nitrogen, and potassium (cannabis is a huge consumer of those two nutes)...The other posters are right about salt buildup and pH, but since the others are looking good, there might be something "strain specific" happening with those 8. I bet once you up-pot to 3 gallons some of those deficiencies will mitigate themselves too with the added nutes in the soil. Good luck

Root bound is my guess. Not sure about the brown spotting, but the yellowed tips curling down looks familiar to me. Also would explain why some and not others. I will be curious to see when you transplant.

Raise your pH man. If that doesn't do anything note worthy, I would flush and half dose the fertilizer. Otherwise your just doing bucket science. But black dotting is weird. Potassium def is a brown peppered look. A mobile nute is being locked out. Probably your nitrogen. What compound of nitrogen does your fertilizer use?

Just a quick tutorial for the nubes. PH is a scale of acidity/base going from 1 (very acidic) to 14 (very basic) Marijuana likes an acid soil maybe ph 6.5. So to have a more acid soil...you would lower the ph. Lower number...get it?

And AimAim...I feel your pain. I think many people feel CalMag is one soil nutrient.

I'm just a shmo, but I'd say flush and start over @1/2 strength like stated ^^. Looks like a lockout/salt buildup to me. But what do I know! Happy growing!

So here's all I got. Flush/lower nuts/raise Ph/root bound(put in new pots)/CalMag/Nutelockout

Well I'm back to square one lol…I think I'll get some nitrogen rich pure protein dry organic fish fertilizer and try that out, then put them into the 3 gallons(since I'm doing that soon anyways). The nute line I use is 100% organic(except for the ph down, which I don't use; instead I use a ph down that has citric acid).

Sounds like a good plan. Your babies are no where near real harm.
