What did you accomplish today?

Gauge seems to be working now. It is nice to be able to use the drivers door handle again.

I got reconnected with an old friend that I had lost contact with decades ago. Many years ago, before I bought a gun safe, whenever we would leave on vacaton I would hide all my guns in the rafters or cubby holes around my house to make them less vulnerable to theives. I had so many guns I always made a list and took it with me of the locations of each hidden gun. On one such an occasion a long time ago, like 30+ years ago, I forgot to make a list, and upon returning home I could not find one of my favorite handguns. For years and years I have periodically held 'easter egg hunts' all around my home trying to locate it.
Well finally today while cleaning out a corner in my basement that we use for storage, I felt something in a box of old clothing i was going through before heading to Goodwill, and after over 30 years of searching, I found it!!! I had given up years ago of ever seeing my old Colt .380 (mini 1911), Welcome back Baby...Sweet little pocket gun, they quit making them decades ago

I'll keep our scorpions. You can keep the ticks! Mine are staring me down for the walk. I have to finish my coffee, not one knee bend attempted (yet).

Today I had gravel dropped off and I put in a new driveway. It was a lot of work but I got it done quicker than I thought I would.
