when my mom found out she found my stash...half bag tai stick...down the toilet! i cried...seriously...i cried!
we worked on the honor system at my house, my mama found my shit told me to go flush it down the toilet so I'm like "sure mama" , grabbed my sonic tray with some gold bud on it, headed to the bathroom, poured that shit in an empty baggy, put it in my pocket, flushed the toilet and said "there ya go mama" happy mother fucking ending for all!

My mom broke my Limpbizcut CD in half when she heard me swearing.

Yet she let me keep my cigarettes... weird.

Well my mom never really approved but I didn't hide it. She never grounded me for anything either she would just yell or threaten to take things from me but she never did. A bunch of times i would just show up at 2 in the morning on a school night and she would just yell, so I had it pretty easy growing up and i still do with her. My dad on the other hand... toke with him all the time lol.

Yup, she didn't care, doesnt care. so since she doesn't care i don't give a fuck who knows.
my parents understand/understood that I use it as medicine. They watched me struggle with pharmaceutical side effects time and time again. I ran the gamut of pharmaceutical cocktails. The side effects outweighed the benefits. I went through the gauntlet of getting a medical card in New Mexico (not easy to do) and began living my life again. They saw all this. As long as I was legal they didn't mind. They just said to keep it outside.

My extended family is the problem, which is why I stay on the down low. Mormon families have complex relationships. The last thing I need is my family finding out I toke. It was hard enough for them to accept me for being gay. I'm still not allowed to enter some of my relative's homes and they refuse to speak to me. This is called "shunning". A lovely practice of pretending someone doesn't exist. I caused enough schisms in my family.

Fuck anyone who can't accept you for you. I don't care if your black, white, gay or straight. If you don't do me wrong and you can make me laugh your cool in my book.

I understand it's family but I just hate that shit.

In 1978 my parents caught me stealing weed from the Giant box of weed in the attic and the box was moved to the closet so I had to become more stealth when pinching dad's stash. They soon stopped smoking and I was forced to buy nickel bags from the Low-riders. Good Times....

wheel/suspension

people always think oh that's an engineer he built that whole thing.

no i built one part another guy built the other part and joe build part c

and boss engineer gets all the cred lol

except we have people working on everything from they guy who designs bolts to the guy who designs nuts

it would just take to long for on person to do the whole thing
I worked in a machine shop in the 80's and we did military contract parts. Most of the time we had no idea what they even did. They would also supply the steel and we had to return all scrap and shavings in barrels to be weighed.

I too found out my parents smoked before i even got into it. I was aware of the things going on around when i was 9, so it was funny when i would walk out on the porch to a cloud of reefer smoke. I knew the smell was awsome and i thought it was wierd my mother tried to hold in the "cigarette smoke" untill i went away. and why hide it and look at eachother like a deer in headlights.
