Why does Texas have no basements?
You have to go to the country parts of Texas
180 watt cheapo led light that I got a really good deal on. I'm not a "believer" just yet but so far they seem to be doing well. I have noticed they do not have the penetration or footprint that I'd like. I've used nothing but hids since the late 90's so its a chance for me to get into something new.
wouldn't you still have stairs to the basement, and temp changes? just sayin
Oil and mineral companies own all ground rights probably. It's not easy but my friends family dug a basement out from under their summer cottage to make it a full year home, 5 gal buckets at a time, then built up with cinder blocks.. I would think doing a smaller..20x20 area wouldn't be that difficult or compromise the stability of the house, as long as you ran some decent beams. I thought everything was better in Texas?
