Clones are in rockwool only a couple weeks old… they came from vegging mother plants

Some of them root and still deteriorate, some of them never root

IMO too stong of a light on the clones if that's where you clone them. Also what do you feed after they root. I clone in plastic water bottles, nothing fancy just water & the clone. If temps are too low they wont root, if lights are too strong they wont root either.
No domes but room humidity is 55-66%

I agree with this. I grow in rockwool, but I use root riot plugs to start the seeds / clones. Rockwool plugs are hard to keep balanced between too wet or too dry, and they catch algae really easily.

This is all good advice.
You really need a dome. Clones like it junglish. Warm, not to much light, humid as hell.

For sure, I did use a dome when using rapid rooters. The bottles method I use does trap a lil humidity inside so some clones start to make root above the water line.
