what is a cola? i'm not even sure if i'm spelling it correctly.... but i saw someone post a pic and i was wondering...if i can just grow these instead? due to my space....and the size of the cola the guy had.. i was wondering if this would be a good thing to focus on... grow like 10 colas.... instead of a couple of bushy plants.... what yall think?

Why would a cop call himself jojoluver33? That's not amusing in the slightest. Were all very scared. Anyway, I was under the impression that a cola was the main stem/stems of the plant where lots of bud sites were produced. You can't cut the rest of the plant down because it needs the leaves on the other branches to photosynthesize and feed the buds on the cola, with just a cola the whole plant would die. There are methods of getting more then one cola off a plant like LST, you can make the plant produce a lot of colas and increase your yield but the plant still needs leaves. The sea of green method produces plants with one cola each and not that many branches, so you could have 10 small plants and 10 colas instead of 5 normal plants with 5 colas.

All good thing with practise.... but to much WILL stunt grow and every time you do that you yeild LESS and less....
For good QUICK yield........ so your pulling a 1 once plant per week is a perpetual SOG.... Alot easier to yeild more once you have your head around the the tech setup.....
i want to do the perpetual SOG... i need to still read up on it some more... is it really a high tech setup? because i glimpsed over it real quick and it didn't seem that high tech...but like i said..i just glimpsed over it, so i could have missed that part.... i hope it isn't that hard to do...i'm wrecking my brain trying to figure out how i can do this...and whats the best technique.... i use to think, you can just pop these things in a pot and forget about them and like magic....they just appear.... oh well...got to read some more

I just want to interject somthing that I did not see anyone touch on, no pun intended on diemdepyro's post. Anyway, I was under the impression that a "cola" is more commonly associated with an indica strain where the buds go so close together and compact, due to the small bushy nature of the plant, that you get the cola on the main stalk. As a sativa dominant plant goes I thought that they tend to grow more spread out and less thick. In contrast to what I just said I am aware of how training practices can have an effect as well as the crossing of various strains thus allowing an individual to "colas".
