I put this heady girl into the closet 3 weeks ago Wednesday, when she had grown to about 10 inches. She stretched a lot b/c the lights were hung high for my two big females. It looks like she is going to give a bit of bud tho, so im glad i put the effort in to do something with her.

anyway, the bottom node has recently grown two tiny balls. They are about as big as the tip of a sharpie, and hanging off and drooping a bit. This was the only spot on the plant I saw any balls.

I want to use the pollen from the pistils and cross it with my large female, a very resilient strain i got from bag seed, which will be ready 4 weeks from Wednesday.

What is the best way to collect pollen from a Hermie plant like this? I was considering cutting the balls off then mashing the pollen sac up in a ceramic mortar and pestle, then taking a q-tip and applying the pollen onto some healthy looking mid-height buds.

The last two pics are of the mother plant and of the pollen sac. It looks like a white dot on the stalk. Sorry my camera sux.:-?

Any tips or advice on sexing hermaphrodites and saving pollen would really be appreciated.

put the mature unopened flowers in a paper bag or a jar with out a lid..let dry for a day or two on the fridge or somewhere warmish...then crush and apply...put it on the lower undeveloped buds because you are going to have to leave them until the seeds are dark and the pods are opening before you harvest them,,,so they will take about 5/6weeks...hope this helps
