My wife isn't huge though....just sayin.
lmao...get outta my head!My wife isn't huge though....just sayin.
Hey man. What part of NY? Im in woodstock.Your plant looks pretty good. I am actually in a very similar situation!! I also live in upstate and I found a seedling outside my house in my worm farm lol. Brought it inside to save it from the frost. It has been inside for almost two weeks and it is doing well. The first few leaves had some discoloration after I brought them in I thought maybe Nute burn maybe just the rapid change in temperature.. Either way this is what it looks like nowView attachment 3534119
Finger lakesHey man. What part of NY? Im in woodstock.
Yup transplant into rhe bigger pot (bigger is better in this case) and put in the ocean forest or happy frog soil and it should be golden....i think at the point your at id almost just leave it in the soil it is in and add some of the new soil to the bottom of the bigger pot and fill the sides....it seems happy in the soil its in use the known food stuff to fill the rest of the pot as explained.Geez this plant is taking all kinds of abuse from me. I do have other pots but they're big and I don't have anymore soil. I guess my next dumb question would be will this plant survive a transplant into different soil? It's in crappy left over soil from a mum but I plan on going to buy some ffof soon.
Sorry to say but you will not likely get more than a gram dry weight in those conditions. but Major Props for nursing one of Mother Ganja's babies. A cannabis seed is a terrible thing to waste. You have the motivation, now follow it up with research. There is tons of grow info on this site and others like it...videos, posts, threads, blogs, journals etc etc. I suggest starting there. Be careful about asking for 'opinions' some folks can get mighty arrogant after a grow or two and think they can tell plant strain from a seedling by looking at a pic. Always, look for info that can be backed up by fact, I like grow charts and books personally but again tons of stuff out there, good luck and good grow.Even if I can get this current thing into flower I'll be happy with a 8th off my first grow. An 8th for just buying a few cfls is a pretty good deal to me.
FFOF is a pretty hot soil for a plant that is dubious to start with...I like the FFHF, and have always grown in it. 70% soil, 30% perlite. I never add nutes until at least 3 weeks as the soil has plenty in it too start.Yup transplant into rhe bigger pot (bigger is better in this case) and put in the ocean forest or happy frog soil and it should be golden....i think at the point your at id almost just leave it in the soil it is in and add some of the new soil to the bottom of the bigger pot and fill the sides....it seems happy in the soil its in use the known food stuff to fill the rest of the pot as explained.
True i didnt think about that with the OF....good catch.FFOF is a pretty hot soil for a plant that is dubious to start with...I like the FFHF, and have always grown in it. 70% soil, 30% perlite. I never add nutes until at least 3 weeks as the soil has plenty in it too start.
6500k will due for veg but you will want the 2700k or so when you flip to bloom...and id probly look for 250watt HID lights MH and HPS...on ballast can run both bulbs if you get the switchable ballast.Yea thanks. I think I know a lot more than I did last month when I started. I'll be getting some auto seeds soon. I'll probably just get 2/for now. The good soil, better nutrients, more lights, fans and of course a digital ph pen. And I'll be watching them like a hawk. For now though, I'm still gonna get that soil and oh pen and maybe a light or 2. 6500 k this time haha.
The fox farms happy from has worked fine for me from seed. You can put them in ff of when they enter the seedling stage, right?
As I said FFOF is a bit too hot IMHO for a plant that is not well rooted in something cooler like FFHF and then transplanted to FFOF. However, the FFHF well mixed and light with perlite is good for all stages...again IMHO.Well what soil would you recommend for seedlings. For when I get my auto seeds.
