Spiders, I fucking HATE spiders.
This one time were were up at the Falls (a series of waterfalls that are up the back of Bouquet), and we had gone into this little sheltered spot to smoke a bowl. When we finished we went to cross the water using the rocks. I was waiting to cross with my hand on this big boulder for balance, and then I feel something skitter across the back of my hand...several somethings.
I look and my hand is right next to this big crack in the rock and dozens of spiders are spilling out from it. BIG spiders with fat bodies and long thin lets, and they're skittering over my hand...
I did the typical girly scream/shriek, my brother looked back to see what I was screaming about, and HE yelled "Oh SHIT!" and jumped away onto the next rock and yelled for me to hurry. I've never jumped from rock to rock so fucking fast in my life. I went right to a waterfall and just stood under it, cuz I was scared there were spiders on me.

I used to be scared of spiders too,,over came that by smooching them, and Now where I live they are everywhere, Black widows, Brown recluse,,F-em' I'm bigger.
Now my fear is there coming to get me,,,or the train is running me over at night,,I have some episodes at night for sure.

lol, um, the whole "i'm bigger" mentality...doesn't that not work with black widows and brown recluses? I mean, haven't people lost LIMBS because of brown recluses?
OOH, it was so sad! Have you ever heard of postsecret? One guy sent in a secret that when he was younger he played a prank on his sister by putting a spider in her bed. But he didn't know it was a brown recluse, and she ended up losing her leg

Yea, but the majority of spiders are not that bad,,,You get used to them after a while,,Hell water spiders are like fucking tarantulas,,,I beat em so they don't squirt on me lol,,,But like you I was terrified of spiders!

That story makes me quiver. I hate spiders also. I don't know what it is about them besides some of them being poison. I once heard that a daddy long leg spider has enough poison to kill an elephant but their mouths are too small to bite a human, don't know if there is any truth to it.

LOL, I heard that too, so I looked it up and it's not true. Just an urban legend
Daddy long legs are the only spiders that don't wig me out. I think of them as the chill spiders, they'd be the stoners of the spider kingdom if they could smoke weed.
But yeah, every time I retell that story I do this full body shudder when I get to the part about them skittering across my hand. I can still FEEL it!

JohnnyO are you trying to give me fucking NIGHTMARES?!?!
Last year I pulled the cover off of my propane tank on my trailer and started seeing all sorts of little dots in front of my face, I then realized that they were baby spiders(hundreds of them) and started rolling around on the ground screaming like a little girl until they were off. Every little itch I had for a week I though was spiders. I still get chills thinking about it.
