yeah, i don't really like the lemony taste either skunk. i grew larry og from cali con, and being it is often called lemon larry, i knew what i was in for, but the whole lemon thing isn't really my fave, by far..
i do love the piney, kush. hashy taste of a god og, and omg, mix in that coffee taste, and fagetaboutit.. a proper bubba has to be one of the best tasting herbs i've had the pleasure of smoking..

I've also hated the Bubba slow growth. The Bubba OG does not do that luckily. These things STRETCH, actually.

The flavors and smells are great. I don't know Bubba or OG inside and out, but, I know this cross is great.

I actually threw out a plant from this pack early in veg as I saw that damn Bubba slow growth thing that I had seen before.

The worst I have seen was Canacopia... DC x Bubba Kush... thing was a runt... i spotted a runt in the BOG and threw it out before flower came. All other plants were sprawlers in the pack.

Yeah.. my fave plant was the hashy flavor plant. Made excellent ecig juice. One of the plants had a strange burnt toast smell.. weird. I had come across it before but this one really was a strong burnt toast smell. Coffee might fit in there as well, but more like toast. Roasty for sure.

Biker kush from karma genetics has this similar very hashy but more caramel / butterscotch taste
very nice, full lung expansion and no lemon lol

i like the musky hash flavours too i had a very nice pheno of mazar stayed small no stretch in flower
tasted like musky black hash and bitter dark chocolate

the leb hash that was around years ago had a very nice flavour i have been meaning to grow some Lebanese for so long now
Next generation seeds have a leb x skunk1 ill have to give that a run at some point go on a flavour hunt
potency is not the best but the taste is great

I hadnt heard of the gpw thing until I started coming on here. Strains have a limit of how much prime nug they will produce Ive found, some obviously more than others. You can increase how much you get per light/watt by leaving more undergrowth or having the perimeter of the canopy extend out a few inches more, but your lbs start to take on a different look..the sad face never emptied duffel bag look

My gpw probably is around .7 I think, sometimes less if it is a lower yielding type strain and I dont spend much time training a good canopy. Rarely sometimes a little higher if Im doing a heavy yielding commercial blue dream type strain.

600hps, multiple
Green Crack - .75
Bubba OG - .65
Super Silver Haze - .56

Veg was always minimal, 3-5 wks under T8, crammed together.
Really, veg was about developing root mass. With sprawling genetics,that is all you need. Stretch will fill space during the first 4 wks of flower.

In general.. a 2/3 gal pot held the veg plants.. they were transplanted to 5 gal pots and moved to the flower room. 12/12 started.. 8-9 wks later, buds.

Or how long plants were vegged- 8 weeks instead of 4 would probably affect yield.

reason I did gpw and not space per light or room available. because electric is very important to me burning 10 or more lights @ .16 a kilowatt getting a 1500 dollar electric bill every month . gpw is the only way to know what your pulling for the electric your using. I have an entire basement . 1000 square feet huge basement. so if I said my square foot per light my yield be very small . and every light is different led my opinion wont spread as much as hps does . hps you can raise 12 inches or more and put the bulb into a very large hood and spread it out . led my opinion will shine straight down and deep better penetration . so what light has the better gpw ? this thread was for the guys like me where every penny spent on electricity could break the bank. if we had a bad harvest would be devastating . idk I was trying to get more info so we could see what lights and tactics work best. I really wanted to see some led gpw . see my point a led you put 3 or 4 plants under it for 400 watts. and a 400hps watt you might be able to stretch the light further to put even more plants under it. but what one is better ? my opinion is only way to know is gpw scale. not by the space available because not every grow is the same temps using co2 soil hydro lighting experience . im sure I could get much better yield per plant if I place less plants under each light . but would I get more yield if I place more plants per light even though the plants produced less . this is gpw . an number based on an average . dry weight per light. if you know a better way to average your yields per watt of light please tell us so we know ???? this thread is for every body , newbies to commercial growers . Ok, 660 watts of LEDs over 4'x7', 24 2g. or 3g. bags vegged and tied down to a small 12" tall mess, perpetual grow (4 in every 2 weeks), averaging 1 to 1.25 ounces. I have now upgraded to 1330 watts and have started playing with DWC and flood and drain. First DWCs not to happy, warm roots. But still got 2 and a quarter ounces off one bucket.

OK.... If you get 1.25 GPW... And your plants veg for 16 weeks...
and Bloom for 14 weeks... you did good at 1.25 for your 30 week grow....1200 watts so you got in 30 weeks = 1500 grams....
During that time, [I get .6 grams per watt]
I did 8 week veg 7 week bud... two complete harvest for your one... so my .6 = 1.2 over your time = 1440 grams for my little .6 per watt grow...

It's all good...

Most I've ever achieved

.45 - .5/ watt @ 600 watt HPS. My goal has been healthy plants the last couple of runs. I am slowly trying to hit the 1 gram mark.

This was on Super Skunk.

I will have the weight for Green Crack under same 600 watt. But i've been lazy. It looks like 8 Oz or so but I'm not sure. Which is only .37/ w. But we will see. Maybe I'll weigh it out tonight.

8 blue dreams (haze pheno)
vegged for 30 days from clone under 600w mh in 3 gal smart pots,
put into flower at 24" tall ......... finished flower at 52" tall
flower for 60days under 1 - 1000w hps
Final dry weight was 520 grams.
so .5 ish

grams per watt is b.s. it all depends on strain.. you can grow a master kush and super lemon haze under the same light, same veg time, same size pots, same soil and nutes. The mk will pull 1.5 zips and the slh will pull 5-6 zips.. it all depends on strain... it should be grams per µmole/s or gram per kwh.

Now see, with all the proper info, along with the gpw amount, we can compare apples to apples. Which, btw, the clone only bluedream (if you can get your hands on the real deal) has the potential to pump out much more than that. More like 1gpw grown like that. Who's bluedream was that?
