What kind of notes do you keep?

I guess I do use blue painters tape to label pots with strains and branches that where pollinated with what pollen.........then seeds from those branches get bags labeled with the cross. I grew up in a illegal time and evidence I didn't want so what limited notes I did take 25 years ago are long gone. But they where on a hightimes calendar lol

I use Google notes, but I downloaded this app a few weeks ago called Jane. And it's amazing, exactly what I was looking for

paper calendar here: with an id stick in each plant and a stick to indicate its pollinated
Why so high tech? Is all that really necessary? :bigjoint:
Losts of plants in an illegal state the baltic is still very anti weed, so no electronic records,
I have a high turnover with many new and old strains..that have been lost before due to poor offic work ..lol

also now use colour coding, that simpifies everything, great if you grow many repeat strains

Thread from the dead :bigjoint:

The first yr or so, i took COPIOUS notes down to fertigation temp and even runoff temp.

Now? --i just mark specific dates on my calendar, usually just:
--seed drop date
--"clone home" date
--flip date
--any equipment changes; new light or exhaust fan, etc
--slated chop date with a "?" like 10 or 12 wks from flip
