What kind of tool do you use to water your plants?

As we all know watering a lot of plants can put strain on your body and back especially with a lot of bending over etc etc. so for all you indoor soil/coco growers, what do you use to make watering easier for you.

list any particular watering cans or methods you use that you may think is helpful to others.

does anyone water using a sprayer?

Do you water directly from 1gallon jugs? Do you pour water into a cup and the onto the plants?

Even cheaper method would be to set up a reservoir a few feet above your plants with a hose plumbed to the bottom with on/off valve and use gravity to water them.

I measure all my water into a large container by the litre, then add feed.. then I use a measuring jug to take said water and I bend over and just part the lower leaves with my hands, and use my other hand to slowly pour in the water bit by bit.

I’m young, fit and go to the gym - lifting and bending doesn’t phase me, but if it’s an issue you can get watering cans like these so you can just pour directly there without bending over

I use a 5 gal bucket or a big Rubbermaid tub depending on how much water I need to use, and a pump. With teas I always use the big one, and a long hose for the pump so I can reach my closet.

I have been seriously thinking about this for awhile. I'd have the res semi permanently mounted, and i'd fill and mix in place. No pumps to fail. Was also thinking of having a bunch of 1 pot res connected to the bottom, then mixe, open one set of valves, fills the othere, close the main, open individuals that you could set to slowly water. Hell yeah, i'm doing that as soon as my new tent gets here in a week or so. Would start now but will be completely rearranging

Currently use a 5 gal bucket and eyeball the water level. I measured once so i have a good idea, i always do 4 gals at a time. I also am not real exact on my nutes, this is part of the reason I have not tried coco or hydro yet. Not as much room to be eyeballing things. I have a little pint container I dip into 5 gal and use that to slowly water by hand.

Yeah that should work. I'm not exact with my nutrients either. I just do a spoonful of floranova bloom or maxibloom in my tapwater and dump it on my plants. They grow great so I'm not changing shit.

I might have to look into the bucket and pump. What kinda pump do you use?
I have the Eco Plus ones. This smaller one I paid like $10 for at the hydro store. I take out the filters too so when I feed teas, they're kinda getting a top dressing at the same time. Mine have been going strong for over a year now.
