What laws and policies would you like to see in place that could make a real difference to the way we live today?

I'm not talking about the legalization of cannabis, lets put that to one side, i'm talking real life changing stuff.

How do you guys think the country should be run.

Drop the republican or democrat or conservative or labor or liberal democrat or whatever, i'm asking you as a person with your own mind, if there was a total new government set up that listened to the people and it was the many that controlled the country instead of the few.

something that I have always thought would be cool, although it would never work because it would cause to much havoc, is to lose the money system totally. People helping people, just using the barter system, I think it would just make the world a better place. ie you build houses, I fix cars, Ill help you if you help me. But the trick would be to get everyone involved. which in my opionion is IMPOSSIBLE. so it would never work. just a thought

One of the things i've always hated is that someone can make a super business, say like vodafone, or whatever, they make this massive company and then say 20 guys make more money than they could ever spend, and it just sits in banks and investments making money.

Don't get me wrong, i'm not saying lets be communists, because i believe a moderate amount of wealth should be allowed, if you provide something for the world that is that special then you should be rewarded as such, but why should some guy have 93 billion in the bank just gaining interest.

I just think the money should be spread out more evenly and still based upon reward for recognition but just make things a little more even, the guys at the bottom level doing the hardest work just getting by should be given more money, while the guy that owns the business plays golf every day and spends but 5 minutes in the office is earning millions a week.

The people of the world need to be on a more even footing.

I also think that the class system should be dropped, there are very clever people who get caught up just trying to survive without unleashing their potential to drive mankind forward because they were born into poverty.

What about, if they dropped all forms of tax on the lower class, so they could earn the maximum amount of money, the minimum wage was at a decent level, and a cap was put in place for big business that would see they covered the excess from the top line.

I think this way the ones on the lower wages would then have money to make something of themselves, because yes it does take money in the first place to get somewhere. The ones that were happy to stay still on that wage would be adequately rewarded for being the bottom end and putting the work in that no one else wants to do and still live a good life.

I would like to see a law passed and enforce that would make it a crime of high treason ... punishable with all assets taken ... life imprison ... for profiting from war. If the country must fight then all must scarifice. That would put a stop to wars ...

Then I would encourage the states to implament program to aid the needy ... like when a deer is killed on the road people should report it so a organization can collect them, butcher them and distribute them to homeless shelters.

I would make it illegal to have corporations involved in elections. No more Diebold and the like ... elections held and run by civil servants ... with hand count paper ballot elections. Open to the public on all levels. No more secret corrupted elections.

No more corporate funding for politicians ... the media must give all serious candidates free air time. They must provide this public service at election time.

Back to the fairness doctorine ... equal time ... End the fake news ... unless they admit it ... like TDS ... or CR ... it would be a crime to mislead the public ... no more fauxnews.

Allow alternate fuel sources on the open market ... and work to put a stop to corporate corrpution ...

... and get rid of the federal reserve bank ... and the IRS ...

That is some of the things I would like to see the people of this land do ... :blsmoke:

it takes money, to get money,(in most legit scenarios)

well id love to stay and chat about this topic. but I gotta go eat breakfast with my mother, since I couldnt spend thanksgiving with her..

to me it seems, the ritch get ritcher, and the poor stay the same. one rule for one and another for another. this should change. but like i say money talks and bull shit walks. in every way of life, thats why things will never change. well not in my life time. for god sake, were still getting told, that cannabis is bad for us, and as it stands, we cannot even change that.

Level the playing field. No more elitest bullshit. If your parents are rich, you get to go live in the ghetto. Run the 535 out of town on a rail, flush the white house bunch down the toilet. Start a peoples court and prosecute all the players that have kept this insane war going. Of course it goes without saying that by now I would have brought all the troops home, from every country. Stop the war contracting and go to the United Nations and proclaim that we are done with imperialism and foriegn aid. We will only send aid for disaster relief. Get serious about doing away with Nuclear weapons, world wide including our own. Set up a meeting with all our former enemies and proclaim amnesty for all on all sides, return all detainees to their home lands in exchange for any prisoners in their lands. Establish a minimum and a maximum wage, no more kings and paupers. Your expertise is worth more than a day laborer but not as much as you think. Set world wide oil prices and refuse to pay more. Get the real Hydrogen vehicles into production, the ones where you run your car from a garden hose. Establish a real energy policy and take out the speculators. Nationalize the power Grid, nationalize corporations, make a board of regular people, employees and neighbors of the plant to be in charge of environmental and employee subjects. Remove all corporate moguls and make them gardners with push mowers or relegate them to concrete laborers with the nominal pay of an illegal alien. Turn mansions into homeless shelters, with the current residents made into domestic servants,~LOL~, right out of Marx's Book, eh? Yeah, I have a lot of good Ideas,~LOL~. I'm only gettin started, If you are rich,, be prepared to be a pauper soon, at least in your opinion you'd be one, even though I would make sure that you recieved more than the current minimum wage

A person stands up and puts advertising everywhere to elect him.

All the other guys are saying we promise to drop taxes and all the other usual pre election bullshit, this guy stands up and says hand on heart i promise not to be corrupt, i promise to do everything in my power to do what is right for this country, to drive this country forward to what it should be. They didn't make any false pretenses, they were just completely honest.

How many people would vote for him.

Pretty much that is the oath of office as it stands now. The problem is, they are a bunch of lying assholes that as soon as they are elected, they start sucking up the gravy. You can pretty much figure that if they get enough recognition to be electable, they are already corrupted beyond repair. There are a couple of politicos that I feel are above this, Mike Gravel, Dennis Kucinich and Ron Paul come to mind, the rest are fucked. Having said this, none of the above are electable, so you must choose the one that you think will follow your agenda the best. I'm still holding off till the last moment to make sure whomever I choose will get elected for in a critical race such as this, we want to make damn sure we don't get stuck with more of the same if possible, IE Guliani.

if us americans did go with free healthcare. then we would have to build so many more hospitals. i mean thousands. people these days go the hosp. for every little thing..so imagine if it were free, it would turn into a homeless shelter.

WalMart will fill any generic drug at their pharmacies for $4.00 each. That's a real boon to the poor and seniors. The reason the Left hates WalMart so much is that the Democrat Party is behoovin' to the trade unions. WalMart is not a union company. Therefore, the Democrats/socialists/communists hate WalMart and continue to repeat lie after lie about the company. If the WalMart employees ever vote in a union, the ankle-snipping against WalMart by the left-wing, anti-capitalists would stop that very second.

seperation of big buisness and state is the most pressing need in our land.

Ironic that the money & men of big buisness is what freed the U.S. from the imposing, Imperialistic British. But at the time, it was realized that a new government was needed which seperated CHURCH and State and one that stopped the illegitimate taxes, both oppressing the people.

Today, we can realize that big buisness interests must in some way be seperated out of the influence of politics. The laws of this and all lands are being written by and for the banks and buisnesses. Big buisness does whatever they want with the planet and monopolize world markets and the bankers tax the hell out of the people.

Maybe poor people get poorer because they don't work?
