Hello everyone,
I have an Automazing by Allstar Genetics, a cross between Jack Herer and a unknown ruderalis, it was in veg for about 6 weeks and there was no sign of flowering, people on another site advised me to flip to 12/12 so i did.

Three weeks and two days later there are lots of small bud sites , cristals and starting to smell again but nothing to get excited about. I Recently realised that some of the pistols have started turning orange and has yellowing of leaves.. Are the leaves a nitrogen problem or is it really an auto and coming to the end of its life cycle.?

Pistols changing colour?????
As you can tell i am a complete novice and this is my first grow. I just need to no weather to stick to 12/12 or put up lights on time.......
really want to get the best out of her.

Can post pics if needed.

I haven't been able to find ANYTHING on your seeds and little else on Allstar Genetics except they sell under at least 2 different names, Allstar and Zilvermist. From what I've seen on some of their other stuff your circumstances are not unusual. Most reliable breeders will take seeds off their shelves and redo them until the problems cease.

Don't worry about the leaves so much. Especially the older ones, they will die off in flowering. The later you get into it the more they will turn yellow/rusty. Whatever you're doing keep it up. She looks amazing. Especially for a first timer.

lookin real good, tho it does have a while to go, month to 6 weeks even, so in this time the buds are gonna bulken up from the tops filling downward, its looking nice and healthy, keep it up!!!!
Thats great news thanks very much. i was worried. i guess all first timers do though.

If its an auto it vegged for waaaay too long! It also doesn't need 12/12 to flower. If its an auto it'll grow best under 18/6. I grew all of my autos under 24/0.

And it's turning orange because autos turn really fast. You should've still been on a longer light cycle to see the plant to its maximum.
i was thinking this but 6 weeks since breaking the surface there was nothing happening. so people said it wasn't showing enough characteristics of the ruderalis so the best thing to do was flip her.
I understand where your coming from but if a auto isn't auto flowering then it's not a true auto no????? deep breath :?

That could be the case or the genetic line hasn't been stabilized

...............
they are yellowing a bit too much for so early on in flower, but i have seen worse. if it's not seen to you could see it spreading alot faster i can assure you.
a high N feed like a fish emulsion would be your best bet major.
