What questions would you like to see asked in the debates?

Romney you asked for several years of tax returns from your VP candidates. Why won't you do the same.

Obama what will you do now as POTUS without the worry of running for a second term ????

What size donut ring to sit on do we need for our continued fucking abuse by our gov?

"Mr. Obama, you said during your first term that you would respect the state's rights to regulate medical marijuana as they saw fit. Why have you now opted to interfere with their practices?"

"Mr Romney, A two part question - are you a medical expert? and second, It is clear that this country spends many billions of dollars a year prosecuting a war on Pot smoking Americans with no positive effect. Further, 50 years of medical research has found no compelling medical reason for the prohibition of marijuana. Should you become president what will you do differently than Mr. Obama with regard to cannibis"?

Hemp produces 10 times as much methenol then Corn per acre.
Hemp burns cleaner and hotter then coal.
Actually cleans polluted soil as it grows.

Why are we denied this potential Billion Dollar Business and fatting the coffers of other governments with imports??

And your question for Romney is?
since when did "debates" mean US politicians. That is my question for most ALL politicians. Politicians don't appear to give two shits about human life if there is profit to be made. So to Romney i ask the same because it's proven that politicians elections pledges don't mean shit, he could be in power and a week later be bombing one country or another.
I am not an American, US politics mean sweet fuck all to me, the rest of the world knows that they are all corrupt so we don't dwell to long thinking about them, we try an focus on our own countries and how we're being fucked over by our own leaders, so for all intents and purposes jsut consider my response as being aimed at david cameron and every other UK leader who is a lying cunt :)

Or was the term "the debates" somehow meant to notify me that this was solely about america, because we all know how america likes to make everything in the world about america, so it kinda makes sense..

You have a point.

Except that the way things work in the States is that we have a debate between the two presidential contenders, it is something we do regularly, evey 4 years and sham that it is, it is curiously exciting to watch, that is why this question about the debate tends to indicate this current set of events and not any other "debates" in other countries.

Then state as much, don't work on the assunption that the rest of the world knows that when you say "the debates" we know what you are talking about, because we don't. The USA and it's politics mean very little to us most of the time, when we do focus, it's simply because we're interested to see who you're going to bomb next. Right now it seems like it's syria :p And fyi, you're not the only country that has political debates towards election time, rather a common thing ;) They garner interest but they are always considered as a complete joke by most, interesting, but a joke, politicians are two faced liars, this is a proven fact, campaign promises mean fuck all other than to garnish votes, once the votes are in, they'll do as they please.

I agree but even liars will reveal their motives, if you listen with a skeptic's ear.
Like when Obama says he wants to change the country, the right thinks he means some socialist wet dream Utopia and yet the left...
thinks the same.
BUT, if you listen with an independent mind and are accustomed with questioning authority, the truth will be revealed and as it has been said
"the truth shall set you free".
Still, an argument can be made for "ignorance is bliss", I sometimes long for the carefree days of when I thought our leaders, despite being liars and cheats, still tried to do what was best for America.

I have a bunch but one I'd like to ask both candidates.

We have spent upwards of 80B on the TSA since 9/11 yet they have not caught one single terrorist. Our military spending being so bloated wouldn't it be better to use our trained military in this regard without groping 7 year old CP girls or checking old ladies on chemo diapers?

Don't know if you guys heard about this but a jetskier got through the fence at the Kennedy airport in NY, crossed two runways and entered the Delta terminal all while dripping wet and wearing a bright yellow vest. It took an airport employee to spot him and call authorities.

Indeed. For me and most UK folk, this is presently a rather more significant and notable issue. I mean at the very lowest level there is the issue of our government being run by a coalition of the conservative party and the liberal democrat party. I don't think there's a person in the country who doesn't question the authority and consider what various statements really mean.

Luckily for me my whole family is divese enough that any sit down dinner we have it generally always involves a political debate (my mum gives it a go for a bit and then just breaks down moaning about a desire to talk about polka dot shoes) and on the whole nothing is agreed upon in the grand scale of things, but it always leads to the most interesting of conversations. We long ago gave up the notion of accepting authority.

To those who don't vote because they don't think it will make a difference.

consider for a moment, Canada and Mexico, and frankly many other countries. What we do in this country has a direct effect on them and there is nothing the individuals in those countries can do about our medling, pretentious and overbearing ways. I'll bet lots of the citizens in those countries really wish they could vote in our elections.

Once you know what you know, you are on the path to changing it. Use this knowledge to proliferate an idea. USE THE FORCE WITHIN YOU LUKE (que star wars theme)

Yes then they could be AMERICANS and there would be nothing they could do about how the American government meddles in an overbearing way, but at least they'd get apple pie!

I forgot to submit my question(s).
To both candidates:
Why does the government of the United States of America continue to steal it's people's wealth through the continued UNCONSTITUTIONAL practice of central banking/fiat money and inflation?
A follow up might be:
Why is the Supreme Court the only branch of the US government to say that wages are not taxable?

It is within your power to change that.
