OK I am new I figured a mirror would reflect better they are growing like weeds though an inch a day or more is that good? The white wall in the background will reflect the light better than that mirror or foil.
They are as good as gone I am going to look for Mylar but the walls are white like I said I am new what about underneath on my base should I put Mylar there too to reflect up I am using a 400 watt hpsMirrors and foil create hot spots. Plain flat white paint is best if mylar isnt an option
IIRC I saw somewhere that white paint is better even than mylar. It might depend on distance tho. You can find mylar blankets at the dollar store, easily you best bet. I saw some where that you should crinkle the blanket first. They are as good as gone I am going to look for Mylar but the walls are white like I said I am new what about underneath on my base should I put Mylar there too to reflect up I am using a 400 watt hps
Another great option is "panda film". Its heavy plastic sheeting, black on one side and white on the other. Available on Amazon its easy to use, can be cut to size and works great. Yeah, I'm familiar with it. Never used it though. Not sure about cost or availability. Which is why I mentioned the Mylar. Panda is good stuff though.Another great option is "panda film". Both panda and mylar are available through Amazon. Mylar, of course is more expensiveYeah, I'm familiar with it. Never used it though. Not sure about cost or availability. Which is why I mentioned the Mylar. Panda is good stuff though.

I dont think it's a good idea to crinkle it. That makes light reflect in all directions. You want that light reflected on your plants, not the floor or ceilingAnother great option is "panda film". Yes, but you don't want hot spots. Not sure if it really makes a difference.I dont think it's a good idea to crinkle it. That makes light reflect in all directions. You want that light reflected on your plants, not the floor or ceiling
