Good afternoon all, I’m looking for advice on what to do with my trim? I have 70g of trimmed leaves ( not fan leaves ) and 23g of tiny/broken buds,
What kind of return would I be looking at ? I’ve seen videos/tutorials but never an actual figure of returnDry ice hash.
Cheers for the reply mate, but that seems to complex for meI cook or make tinctures with it. For cooking, I typically infuse in coconut oil. After it's done, I strain in cheesecloth, wring out the oil, then bag the cheesecloth and remaining product in a ziplock bag, and store in the freezer.
When we cook a chicken next, we stuff the cheesecloth balls into the bird. Gives the bird, and the ensuing soup a nice flavour, and leaves you with a slight body high. Perfect when you've got a cold or flu.
It depends on how much you use and if you use bud as well. When I harvest I save all the sugar leaf trim and all the small larfy bud material. I save it until I have a few ounces at least. What kind of return would I be looking at ? I’ve seen videos/tutorials but never an actual figure of return
What number and size of screens to you filter through? It depends on how much you use and if you use bud as well. When I harvest I save all the sugar leaf trim and all the small larfy bud material. I save it until I have a few ounces at least.
I bought 3 yards of 80 mesh/177 micron silk screen material off Amazon for $13. I use just one layer. I cut the bottom out of a 3 gallon bucket and covered it with the screen. That sits into another bucket. Just dump in the trim or bud, add dry ice, put the lid on, and shake away. The key is to not overprocess it. I don't shake it for very long and end up with a tan product. If you shake too long the material will break down and you'll start to go green. What number and size of screens to you filter through?
I like the DIY setup. Very simple. I've got a little over a half pound of trim (popcorn bud and sugar leaves) that I haven't processed yet, and I think I'm going to try my hand at making hash in this way.I bought 3 yards of 80 mesh/177 micron silk screen material off Amazon for $13. I prefer this method over the water/bubble bag method. It literally takes just a couple minutes and you're smoking the result.I like the DIY setup. Very simple.
