Got few days before I place the order so I'm still looking shopping and doing research
Your not bothering any body post . now if you know me I don't bother anybody I just piss them off ! So you k ow keep this in consideration . I have magnetic ballasts as well . I honestly can't say I see any differences. With plants or lights . and a magnetic will cost 100 in any hydro shop . they do make a bit more noise . and this Solis tek you will be able to throw different bulls in it like a 600 mh for veg no need to run 1000 watts in veg if your flowerig with only 1000 . as long as the ballast is set to 600 watts u can use a 600 watt bulb in Solis tek . I talked directly to the manufacturer about this I do it all the time. Can't dim a mh it will greatly burn it out. But yes you can dim a HP's but change the spectrum actually worse then putting the suggest size bulb in according g to hortilix if there are any typos I can't preread on a shit phone

Lol OK first I know all about topping and firming LST scrog sog all of it been trying a few diff ways so far I think I like topping with a lil LST. But now I have the tent and soon the 1000w I'm going to try to grow them taller with just toppong. Second the small plants u see in cups are deff not flowering there under the t5 along with two auto flowers(which I will never buy again) and are on 24/0 light schedule.

My plants in the tent which I'll take a pic of when the lights come on are starting flowering. My goal is to only flower in the tent. And veg in the corner under t5s so I can harvest new plants about every month to two months.

Most of mine are...

But I still have some of these from back when they were branded as "Humboldt Micro Mole".

I have a bunch of these...

Some of these...

and these...

Just got some of these. Working fine so far, faint hum from the internal fans.

And I still have a bunch of dinosaurs in the boneyard. Some real oldies in there.

I'm using a 1000 watt Extrasun digital dimmable ballast. Working great and the light bill is lower than I thought it would be

I've heard about the gavita I just can't drop 400 bucks on a ballast
I'm using gavita and nanolux double ended fixtures, always battleing height but they work great. A complete nanolux 1000 watt dimmable double ended is only about $350, less if you look for deals or buy a bunch of them at once. Not very ideal for a tent, but I do use one in a 6.5 ft tall spare tent and flower very small plants in there untopped SOG style. Just gotta have good ventilation as those things run very hot.

those solis tek ballast are put into combos with double ended hps bulbs and hoods . it actually attaches to a set up so it will look just like a gavita once solid unit . get the solis tek most universal ballast . and you can split it into 2 600 watt bulbs and run 2 hoods all you need to get is a 65 dollar a http://hydrobuilder.com/digital-splitter.html?dzid=cpcgaw_solis tek splitter_e_c_61132386162&gclid=Cj0KEQiAkO7CBRDeqJ_ahuiPrtEBEiQAbYupJf5aX-HzpT7SivqvHDx8YJxqqIH3ZjLQmFRQAIzQ0sUaAqTx8P8HAQ no other ballast can compete with solis tek . there warranty company replace a ballast i had pop and it was out of warranty . i bought a few items from them they know whats up ;

Kinda funny how much you recommend the tent when you also say that there are light leaks. That's like the one reason to buy a tent - no light leaks.

The light leaks are so minimal its tiny ass pin holes and only few and can only be seen while looking very hard a tad of duck tape and its completely light proof and for 100 bucks I'll recommend it till I die nice ass quality very strong and sturdy. I'm happy with it BC the light leak was such an easy fix.
