This honestly depends on the space available in the tent tbh. I dont have an oscillating fan. Just a couple of clip on fans cause simply put I cant fit a tower or regular oscillating fan.

i learned that oscillating fan are a must, this is my setup,i have 2 small oscillating fan and a larger fan on the top ,the 2 small fans are battery operated and i have them hooked to power constantly they run 24/7,i think this damages the battery and the fan looses alot of power, would love to find some 6/8 inch oscillating fan not battery powered clip on,it would be a bonus to have them at a reasonable price!lol

I use a tower fan that 3' tall. It covers below the net and above. If it needs raised. I set the fan on a small bucket.

The other fan is a box fan hung from the ceiling.

I think I have...5 other fans. From desk top to clip on. Those I only use if there's A dead spot under the canopy.

Why would the fan lose power if its plugged in? Regardless of whats going on with the battery. You might just need a higher output usb converter.

I now like the tower fans the best, just got a lasko tower fan..42 inches I think? They work fine as an oscillating fan in the corner if you have the room, but they are freaking awesome if you hang them sideways and blow a blanket of air above the tops, best fan solution I've seen. Someone here tipped me off to it in another thread here, now I don't even mess with oscillating fans. I do have a small fan moving air at the bottom of the tent in addition to the tower though.
