What's best to block light from open closet grow?

So currently I have a open closet grow. To close the closet I have 2 larg sliding mirrors. The only problem is that the light comes out the cracks of the mirror, and makes it look like an alien is on the other side. If I put a black tarp or something in there. Will the block the light off? Or what can I use to block the lights.
Thanks

Tarp and Velcro.

Tarp one side and then the other and join them together in the centre with Velcro.

Your the man. Thank you.
Also, I'm assuming that the tarp is going to increase the heat in the room. If I cut out a hole in the tarp and put a fan, will there be to much light? Coming out of the fan hole. And I have a box fan, to big?

This is what I did in the past with a regular closet door opening, works great. At home depot they sell Velcro rolls. 3/4'' wide x 10' long. Also there's a builders plastic that 1 side is white and the other is black. I placed the Velcro strips all the way around the door like so... _ with the plastic cut to size velcroed the same way, white side facing in. Kinda a pain the ass to get into sometimes, but worked good. l l

I grow in a cupboard and use cardboard which I paint white purely because I have so much of it lying around my attic. I just make sure it fits, nail it to the cupboard so it acts like a door, fit a few fan holes in and you're done.

I did try tinfoil and mylar but the air from the fans making the foil 'rattle' drove me mad.

I use a light blocking curtain i got from walmart for 15$. It covers most of the doorway leaving space at the bottom for a box fan to push cold air in.

i got away with hanging a small blanket on the inside of the closet to block light through the cracks of 2 slidding doors but i guess you consider that being cheap but hey fast fix

You don't need to worry about increased heat the lights will be off and there won't be any heat.
