Well I honor my canadian roots more than any other. :) I am a bit estranged from the english side... bunch of angry drunk-spawn that I avoid like the plague. (No offense to english folk here, I'm talking specifically about family members, heh) But my french canadian grandfather is an amazing guy. My uncle fled the draft and lived in Nova Scotia until they pardoned the dodgers.

I'll probably make a pot of red chili to break the monotony of Easter fare in the next couple of days. We have a buttload of leftovers. We had about 30 to 40 people here yesterday and they all brought food. Our refrigerator runneth over.

Took the boat out today to see how the new underwater camera system is working. Got a few nice dorado on the way in. Fresh ceviche in an hour or so. Yummy!!!
 
Doin' that pizza thang, but the place I wanted to order from (which has good fries) wasn't open for some reason... so we went with a lesser equivalent... and no fries, because their fries are like the ones they used to give us in school lunches... sigh. My fry craving goes on unabated. I will probably have to make chili tomorrow now.

I was recently introduced to two comparatively upscale burgerías in our area. The burgers were very nice, but the fries, oy! They were the shoestring sort and slightly overbrowned for my tastes. Wendy's used to have truly righteous steak-style fries, but even they went the unholy way (like BK and Carl's) of serving these accursed Focus Group Fries ... skin on, cut somewhat fine and with strange overseasoned "bumps" on them Argh. cn
 
T-BONE Steak with melted cheese/french fries and onion with grilled sliced tomatoes and beans an chilli powder.
 
Eggs on toast for breakfast, maybe i will add some beans and salad.

If i get some tortillas i will make nacho for tonight, going to put it in the owen whit like cheese and some stuff, really good munchies ^^
