I think 630nm was important when we were using monos and neutral. Neutral white was the choice when warm whites were running less than a 100 lumens per watt. Now warm white is the best choice. I didn't see any increase in yield or bud size with 630nm. That's on multiple strains I'm familiar with. Warm white has plenty 630nm...adding more took it to a unnatural level making pods shoot out. Almost the same thing I noticed with too much blue. 660nm yielded just as well with TIGHT..DENSE structure. Too much will stretch..so the correct amount is on the lower end.

Warm white enhanced, enriched, supplemented. Higher cri brings out better looking, more vigorous, and naturally healthy plants. Touch of violets (can't hurt), touch of deep red, bit of neutral (blues, yellows, greens..can't hurt), maybe a little UVA (many functions)..not too much of anything.

Or simply..warm white and deep red will perform much better than just white.

Just changed my veg light from a cool, neutral, and warm cree xml setup. Replaced with my much broader flower light. They literally colored up and got vigorous overnight. I can get them healthy enough with plain white..but not nearly as vigorous.

Let's just say ,that I've pretty serious indications,that above a certain "irradiance threshold" ,
then all what's needed is just white light..It will do just as good -if not better -as white+red ..
Though ...
NW or WW(5000-3000) + deep red ,is a combo that indeed ,packs some tight and dense buds,
by far than anything else ...
( At least until some really efficient and powerful 2700K WWs ,show up ... )

Still ...The 3000K WW ...If 'given ' to plants at high irradiances ....
Will -probably-do the trick... ...
All along ,from seed to dried bud ....

Better wait for the evidence /proof,though ....

I mentioned them once...because i suspect there are Reps of theirs in this very forum...other then that....they are just another LED panel making company to me....

But what about 2 to 1 660nm to 730 like Illumitex does? It's just really hard for me to believe what you're saying because I couldn't imagine 2 to 1 730nm to 660nm growing more weed.

320w white..30w of far red to play with. What would be the right amount. Options 10w..20w..and 30w. Why do I have the feeling I'll be going into hemp production again

Thanks for all the help guys has lead me to research alot more into it and think going for something like this would be far better than i originally proposed,still felt i needed a little more blue in than the 10% suggested but feel free to tell me if i am taking the wrong aproach with this 1.

After reading into this a whole lot more i fail to see where your getting this information from as too much far red induces stretching which does not as far as im aware help atall with yield

Is that the Emerson Effect is not between 680-700 as CK stated or 650-700 as you stated. It is the use of deep and far red in combination with each other where the difference is at least 60nm that create the enhancement. The best recorded results were in lettuce using 732nm and 661nm.

Quoting a source that states itself that "needs improvement" and needs further siting isn't suggested.

Are you saying that a wavelength of light can not perform more than one function? Yes, 730nm has a major part in phytochrome production and the Pf/Pfr states.

Here is a link to 53,800 articles/studies on the Emerson Effect.... greatest performance is with wavelengths greater than 720nm. You know... just like the one you linked before that stated the same thing.

I have come to the full conclusion that you misinterpret/troll everything, due to the few interactions of straight shit you have spewed from your keyboard when you post. I'll disregard you from now on. It gets old proving the village idiot wrong. The best I can hope for is that you pull me down to your level of stupidity and beat my with your vast experience.
