No matter the opinion of Bush, at least with the Reps, once a stand is taken, it stays taken..With Obama and cabal, if the message was not well received on monday, it's changed on tuesday.
Another tidbit.. When asked on Dec 8th if he or any of his team had had any contact with Blago he said emphatically "NO".. Funny, as there was a picture of the 2 of them shaking hands. The pic appeared in the Sun-times I recall.

To put the above in perspective: Lets say you are driving down the hiway at 80 MPH, all of a sudden, an 18 wheeler about a 1/4 mile ahead of you jacknifes and blocks the entire hiway. Do you travel on at 80 MPH (Bush) or start slowing down and thinking about altering course (Obama). That was the Bush philosophy, "Damn the torpedos, full steam ahead". His whole tenure was a collision course, one fopaw after another.

Well once again you display your stupidity ... of course a person of your caliber would never bother checking into the facts and who this really hurts ... but your bushwhack mind can't see the forest through the trees ... election fraud has never been this widespread ...I'm sure one could find fraud in every national election ever held. The last election proved it continues onward and upward. It's only when it is close that people get upset.
Obama only won by 7%, hardly a landslide and most certainly not a mandate for anything. Now if the election results came in at 1 or 2 % difference between them, voter fraud would become exposed and emotions would flare up.
But it didn't come in at 1 or 2 %, so the examination NEVER takes place. Doesn't mean there wasn't rampant fraud. You think Illinois has EVER had a clean election?get real...... get over it.

Obama won way more votes than they claim ... the GOP went out of their way to disenfranchise as many voters that vote dim as possible ... he won by a much wider margin ... and the exams you claim didn't take place did ... and are taking place ... but you wouldn't know that since the facts don't interest you ... Oh ... and I believe the scene of Bush standing on the pile of rubble addressing the emergency personnel was broadcast on ALL the stations ... and that would have included Fox as well as CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN and MSNBC.

Well, actually he is, but without cause I'd have to say. I smoked some of his "trainwreck" and it wasn't all that, about 1/2 as powerful as my White Widow. I gave him a little of that and he overdosed, then went on a speil about how my weed sucked, while all my friends just loved it. A snob indeed. What I don't understand is how people can have (mostly) the same goals, a free, stable, just, and prosperous America but agree on so little. How does torture of prisoners factor into this? I know Dick Cheney is splitting hairs about the definition of "torture" but it is generally agreed upon that waterboarding meets inclusion criteria. We are just coming off 8 years of what can truthfully be characterized as a period where elected officials at the executive level (Bush/Cheney/cronies) systematically exploited our constitution and legal structure in a massive power grab. Does anyone actually think this has been a good thing? Sure ok you prefer Bush to Obama or your a "conservative" but do you really feel like Bush took our country in the right direction? How is legislation that comes as thinly veiled biblical directives designed to appeal to religious conservatives (stem cell funding ban, amendment barring gay marriage) at the expense of the constitutional freedoms of others or outright disregard of constitutional limits on governmental powers (patriot act) consistent with making our country a better place? I myself feel like I have been disregarded as a citizen time and again. With the coming of an Obama Presidency I am hopeful I will be represented in our government for the first time in years. While I do not embrace abortion, gay marriage, or even marijuana consumption I recognize these as freedoms provided by our constitution and ceasing attempts to infringe on these rights could restore some of our national dignity. How did we get to this place where it is ok to regulate these behaviours? Conservatives preach small government as a core value, I want you people to walk the walk and get your fucking god-given social directives off my back and stop trying to enact them into law. When that happens I will vote for the fiscal conservative candidate but until that time I will choose the personal freedoms endorsed by Democrats any day of the week.
