that's the thing i've always loved about porsche, they have a winning formula, a certain look to their cars, and they haven't really strayed much from that look through the years.. you can usually spot a porsche a mile away if you know what one looks like, you know what they are look like for the most part..
i'm not all that crazy about the caymens though, and of course i don't like the pan americans or what ever that four door model is called, but at least it does still look like a porsche, even if it does have a few more doors on it, lol..
seems like ford and chevy are picking up on what porsche has done for years, bringing back the older styles of their cars, although porsche has always stayed pretty much the same.. just progressed through the years..

they are wicked, i was soo glad when the made them street legal a few years back, not that i'm running out and buying one anytime soon, i still thought it was pretty sweet to see them on the street instead of just on the race tracks..

i would never buy one either, but they are ok looking.. i'm not about to run out and buy any scion, but some of them are lookers at least.. not sure about the performance of any of them..

ehh, my brother used to have a 67 camaro that was really nice.. than i got one for my first car.. mine was no where as nice as his was of course, but i still loved it, and i'll always have a soft spot in my heart for them..
i'll be 40 in a few days, and back when i was in hs and a few years after that, a lot of people in my town all had muscle cars, chevelles, camaro's, olds 442's, some mopars and all, so i was really exposed to them a lot back then, which i guess is why i like a lot of them.. don't see many of them around here anymore..
seems like everyone of the younger kids today have honda's and shit like that.. not to say i don't like honda's.. i used to have prelude and a crx, and i know that honda's can be pretty quick, but for me, there's still something about the older cars that have actual metal parts and real bumpers and chrome here and there... not to mention the scream of a well tuned big block on full song.. i love when they have a big ass cam in them and they sound like they're about to stall out every minute, kinda like how some harleys sound, i'm sure you know what i mean..
just for me, honda's and those type of cars, even though they may run 10's in the 1/4 mile or what have you, they just don't have that sound that i grew up loving.. i used to be able to tell my brothers 67 from about 4 blocks away..
i know i posted up that video of the porsche to open up the thread, and it's far from a deep v8, but it still has a nasty grumble to it that i still love... idk, lol..

the hyundai genesis?? my old boss at my last job got rid of his mercedes benz suv and got one of them.. it's a pretty sweet ride, but i'd rather have his merc, lol.. he couldn't afford the up keep on it anymore he was saying shit like oil changes at the dealer were an arm and a leg..
