When can I transfer autos to 12/12

No. I imagine it takes generations of crossing the progeny that flowers under 13+hours of light. I have space and am going to run a perpetual so hope to manage as mostly a patience game.
I read up on it a while ago but I forget most of it. Because it's a recessive gene you need a large sample size so space is a must. I think when you cross you get about 25 percent autos but then you need to Pheno hunt those and back cross with the photo a few times.

That's a tough idea of what I remember anyway. I think they were talking about 100 plant grows to do it properly

On topic,
With an autoflower, you are not in control of when it will flower. It flowers in it's own time. So 12/12 will flower the same time as 24hrs of lights on.

Some growers say that 18/6 to 20/4 for autoflowers will give you max yield and potency because it gives the plant time to rest.

Yeah, I did read something like that...
If I even get seeds off this first one and most of the products from those is no bueno, I will probably give up or put them in the yard, haha.
Sorry OP, not trying dilute your thread...
