Happens at times with fabric pots mate theyll be fine, theyll probably shrivel up with the heat/light but its not to worry, root ball must be healthy enough
Also another question.. this is my first time with autos as well as using smart pots. I’ve noticed roots growing through the fabric sides of the pot and out of the bottom. Is this normal? There’s about 7-8 roots poking out.
That's a nice looking plant. How many nodes when you cut and where did you cut? When i top if they have 4 full and just making the 5th or 5th is decent size by day 21 I'll cut above 3rd or 4th node and clip off 1st and sometimes 2nd as well if i want to train a bit. 1st always gets cut cause it never catches up.

Just to update this one which was stunted and had issues. It’s day 42 and since figuring out how to water coco properly it took off with no problems. I didn’t top it but I’m using tie downs to train it. So far so good. Showing pistils as well.

I am growing Candy Cane Auto Flower. The plants started budding within 3 weeks of germination. It seemed to me that the plants were way to small to have started budding out. They are less than 1' tall. Each plant has 4-6 buds. On auto flowering plants is there any way to keep them from going into the flower cycle prematurely?
