I’ve used it at full strength on the canna feeding chart, Light feeding chart I’m following, 30mls to 20L buckets. They are due there first dose at 12 when lights go on, Doesn’t it make buds fatten up? Or is it just needed during the flowering period?

Jeeezzz you first grew in 78, Respect man, I bet you have seen the flowers Evolve and Evolve right before your eyes. I’m growing I’m Canna Coco and the full Nutes/Additives, I’ve got a few Blue Cheese some old Scholl White Whidow and a free seed from royal queens which I forgot what is it smells really really hazy though.Ah. There's a big difference when growing in soil compared to soilless or hydro too. A good soil has a lot of stuff built in but the plants only get what we give them with hydro. With good soil there is already a lot of P and K waiting to be used. That's why a lot of experienced organic growers say not to use any bloom boosters at all and grow huge buds without it.
I've done a lot of my own experimentation and just report on what works for me. The buds I grow now are a lot better than the ones I first grew in '78 and I'm sure I'll see more improvements over the next 40 years.
We were growing plants outside long before 78 but smoking tops and leaves. Never really got any buds. Didn't have a clue what we were doing.
Added it week 5 buddy 4 days in and I can see a difference already. Buds fattening right up.

I’m only 29 and im on my 8/9 grow I think my first one was a shambles, My second one blew me away I didn’t think I could grow such good weed, But I bought all the right things for it like Echothrive 70% Coco 30% Perilite I belive it’s good stuff then I bought all the Canna Products every nutrient and additive and it just took off from there, Ohh yeah I’m growing in Rhizopots to I heard good things about them so I bought 5 16L pots for my tent my tent is 1x2 2M night so you can imagine with it been in 5 1/2 weeks into flower the tent in bulging, The only thing is I wish i defoliated Cos there is a Off leaves and bud sites on the bottom that are not getting no light but I wish I did it in the first week off flower so the plant could concentrate on the top colas but hey hooo you live and learn, Cheers for your reply and knowledge buddy it’s all took on board.We were growing plants outside long before 78 but smoking tops and leaves. I got a little grow book called Grow Yer Own Stone by Dr. Alexander Sumach and a Rosenthal book later and with farm dirt, sheep shit and some 5 gal pails grew bagseed in the basement of the house we rented under a bunch of shop lights. Had Thai Stick, Maui Wowie, Jamacian Red Hair and some mexican sativa. Pathetic little buds compared to what we're all growing now but we all loved it. Wasn't until '82 and back in BC that I grew the next plants inside. Got a 1000W MH light and some salts in bags to mix up for nutes. Got fist sized buds off that then life got in the way so it was a while before the next ones. Moved up here to northern Alberta in Feb. 2001 and brought 6 hash plant clones with me. Hasn't been a day since that there isn't pot plants growing in my house.

Started experimenting with DWC in late '01 and have done about 50 tubs with up to 16 plants per tub since then. Mostly growing in soilless ProMix HP with AN nutes now. I don't sell pot so always have lots to share and plenty of choice of what I feel like smoking today. Doing most of my pot in edibles now too as the lungs are shot after 50 years of cigs and pot. All those hot knives back in the day didn't help much either.
The buds I grew in '78 were indoor plants and for the time way better than the mexican dirt pot going around. Lot of good hash in those days too so we did a lot of that. Hot knifing was very popular and you could pass right out with your 2nd big hit. I had iron lungs back then. lol

So what where the lights back in 78 when you first grew? I imagine they weren’t as good as they are today?? Today's mongrelized strains really don't impress me much. So much inbreeding and crossing that they all seem the same. I grow mainly for medical effect and if I don't get that from a new strain I'm growing my friends get most of it. Really into CBD strains now and make that into edibles. If I had cash to spare I'd be hunting down and buying some good land race strains but have some decent genetics to play with.
If just getting blazed off your ass is the goal there's plenty can do that but I did 40 years of that and the last decade has been a search for the perfect medical strain for ME! Like a quest for the holy grail I'll tell you what!
