When to get going?

First time grower from Cantral CA. When can I put my plants outside to start veg? I'm gonna pick up some clones. I was thinking toward the end of April.

End of april is perfect. Im up in Lake County and im putting mine out may 5th so end of April is just fine.

I'm out in the Midwest and I plan on planting around 4/20. The only thing I really have to worry about is to plant after the last frost, I don't know if that's a problem where you're from though.

According to the Farmers Almanac, prime time for transplant is from May 4-6 this year.

Central Cali here, vegging indoors now until May 15th, where it will be exactly 14hrs of light in my area. Happy growing bruh

April 9th is 13 hours of daylight in the central valley.

13 hrs will trigger flowering in many varieties.

Can yea, but the hours are climbing fast after that point - not going backwards.

true but ya can also flower under 14 hours on some varieties, Ya can't keep the poor little babies inside till its just a little bit warmer?

they will adjust to light outdoors, sometimes going onto flower, then revert back to veg. don't worry, the roots are well established by this time and they take off.

whats the advantage of putting them out earlier when they are going to go through the whole summer cycle anyhow?

I live in southern california and my plants have been going outdoor(for 3 weeks), and then greenhouse(for the last 2 weeks). Their lookin great. Its sunny almost every day...

Started mine a little over a month ago keeping them inside until the first week of June I'm from Washington state
