Where do you buy molasses?

The title says it all, where the heck do you buy molasses? I've searched endlessly at Wal-Mart and Food Lion, the two main grocery stores around here. They don't have it...?

I don't want to have to buy it online, where do you get that stuff? Do drugstores have it?

Is there a similar product that accomplishes the same goal?

Most carboload products are made with molasses. If you can't find it, corn syrup works just as well. Although, its usually right by the corn syrup or in the baking department at just about any large grocery store. I did buy a carton of molasses at walmart before so I know they carry it.

Molasses shouldn't be that difficult to find. Any major grocery store should have it. Copp's, Cub Foods, Roundy's, Pick-n-Save, Piggly Wiggly, Whole Foods, Aldi's

HAHAHA this should DEFINITELY be in newbs section!!

grocery store

places to check:

pancakes, syrup, organic section.

If it isn't there you need to move somewhere that civilization has gotten a grip on.

People work at grocery stores for a reason. To show you where things are. Question you definitely should have asked an employee at the store hahaha.

Yeah, wal-mart should carry it. Should be right next to the pancake syrups. The one I bought at WM was called grandma's. Try to get the unsulphured kind. Good luck!

Nah wal-mart didn't have it, i'll take a picture to prove it next time I go. I've never heard of any of those stores snyder mentioned.

They have TONS of corn syrup, almost half the isle dedicated to different kinds of corn syrup. I guess i'll just get some of that. Does the mixture ratio change for corn syrup? Also what kind of corn syrup do I need? They have HFCS ranging from 20-90.
