oh oh and what about the "back to basics" book? what's that? huh? huh? huh?

i'm just kidding, but i've been scoping out pictures of the desks on here looking for something funny...

like a fleshlight.
Lol, you're a regular old Sherlock Holmes eh?? The Back to Basics is actually a really good book, recommended by 420God, that teaches how to be more self-reliant and self-sufficient and whatnot. Very informative.

i checked it out, looks interesting.

probably would have got it if i didn't already order like $150 worth of books last night.

i got a book on trains, book on planes, a big smithsonian book on animals, some books on film/directing/storytelling.
there was a lot... too many books, too little time.

I know what you mean. I just got Amazon Prime and went all out and bought a bunch of shit. Free 2day shipping. I actually got it all the next day. I was so geeked.

i don't have that, i usually just click the slowest shipping option lol. i'll have to look into it though.

there are so many books in my apartment, anyone that comes over says i should just get my info online instead of buying so many books.
fuck that, books are the shit.

It's 79/year for 2day shipping on everything and you also get their instant streaming library which is pretty much the same as Netflix but not as refined i.e. no toggling subtitles. I buy alot more books now that I got an Amazon account. Agree I like a physical copy. Can't read a screen on a sunny day laying in my hammock!!

I'm thinking about getting Prime this week, I just ordered a Kindle Fire for my daughter for her B-day.

Do you know if I can get it to stream through my wife's WII onto our TV?

Yeah, there's no reason why you couldn't, the technology exists obviously... probably comes down to corporate money...like most things. I guess you could maybe go to the website and watch it that way, but there's no dedicated "channel" for Amazon Instant.

Say they say in Detroit, 'Burn, baby, burn'. :joint:
not anymore lol, all of the papers and everything else from my office at work now consume my living room (where the desk is).
i've been stepping over things for weeks, not sure weather to store it or burn it.
