If that's true it changes my opinion drastically.

I've heard it was between 20 and 30 feet.

That's why I've thought all this time the cop probably shot him because he was mad Brown had the nerve to hit him.

There are so many "witnesses" who went on media interviews and put facts out there that are contradictory and as a result make it hard to know what happened.

With you, Bob down the street and even a cop I err on the side of innocent when we can't tell wtf happened.
