I am thinking of buy a property in one of the two(Humboldt and Mendocino). Which one is better and why? I will be growing outdoor and plan to grow 25 to 99 plants. I plan to start plants indoor and then put them outdoors in late April. Which one has less issues with theft? Which one will be better for support(trimers at end, day labor to help with setup and up keep)? Long term plan is 2016 recreational in California and being able to expand beyond 99. Any thoughts or input is great appreciated. I am going to visit both counties over the 4th of July.

It appears from what I have read that Humboldt and Mendocino are less aggressive with their sheriffs department, than Shasta or Trinity county. When you say fog do you mean sheriffs dept or do you mean fog like the low cloud?

Fuck shasta! Have 40 acres right on the edge next to trinity and got shut down... have to live there, indoor or greenhouse and I think only 12 plants.

From what I have read, in Humboldt and Mendocino, if there aren't any complaints against you and you keep you plant count down(under 99) they seem to let you slide. Is this the way it is or am I incorrect?

I am headed up to Mendocino and will be scouting Trinity and Humboldt as well next week. I am trying to find specif areas I should be looking at. I am planing on buying. I am looking to find somewhere that is priced well but still safe(from robbers and sheriffs). I plan to have 99 plants. Any suggestions would be very helpful so I can plan out my time since I will only be up for 4 days. Thanks

What do people think about Covelo and Trinity Pines? Both areas look good when I was up this last week. Covelo is right in the city. Trinity Pines there are a ton of grows in the area.
