Where to buy coolers in winter? Which 40+ liter coolers are reccommended?

So my next project I want to use a cooler for my reservoir, as I've seen many on here do as well but am curious which ones people recommend and why? I wouldn't mind somehow utilizing the spouts that are common on the bottoms as a reservoir drain as well.

Also where would you go in the wintertime to find coolers? I've checked 2 of my local walmarts here in Co and can't find them. Was considering a sporting good store, but feel
they could be much more expensive there. I've checked craigslist but haven't really come
across anything that would fit the bill, and I'm going to be building 4 duplicate systems so
would like to find a source for finding them new and readily available.

+Rep for the help :)

Thanks

all the walmarts around here have plenty of them in the sporting goods area. when looking at the drains some of them have a threaded 3/4" thread that a water hose will hook right up to. i think mine is a rubbermaid but not sure.

i use them in my flood and drain
12gal/48quart i use coleman 25gal/100quart i use igloo those are the cheepest i can find $25 and $50
just got anouther 25 gal from kmart last saterday 2-5-11
i live in san diego so weathers a bit warmer than CO maybe ask them if they could order them for you
i use a hole saw cut a hole and runs all my wires/tubes. To drain i just run a hose off my pump and let it do all the work
also work great with water chillers or frozen 2L water bottles

I am in the same boat. I am looking for a white marine cooler with the threaded drain instead of the pop off drain plug on the colemans. The 5 gallon sport coolers are good for single plants but I am keeping my eye out for a white marine one. Get a drain valve and drain and fill with a water hose. Check out my journal for step by step
