Where to buy replacement hps bulb

The keys to getting 2+ lbs per light, overlap or not is:
1. Choosing the right strain
2. Long enough veg period
3. Big enough pot size
4. GROW HEALTHY PLANTS
5. Long enough flowering period (plants well done)

There are also some more minor things not mentioned but these are the key 5. Without question, #4 is most important.

For your 4x4 if you can keep temps around 80-85 max
I would say 750w-1000w would be killer
Agreed. that's why I was asking if anyone is getting 2 pounds from a single 1000w light.

It isn't worth it to me if I'm only getting a few extra ounces due to the cost of electricity here and the heat problem id create ( summer in particular). But if I can double my yield then...

You won't double your yield switching from 600w hps to 1000w hps, 600w hps is the most efficient type of single ended hps, so you'd need at least double wattage to get near double.

So what strains have u pulled 2lbs in 5x5 space with one 1k hps, I'm not hating I would love to try that. I average about 1-1/2 oz per plant with a month veg

My grow space (the room is larger but I need area to walk around to water) is 8 x 10, so each light actually handles a space of 4 x 5 sq ft. My last crop was Citral Glue. The crop before that was a G.G.#4 hybrid by Expert Seeds out of Ireland. And before that was Zombie Virus, also by Expert Seeds. I now only buy from American breeders, as I feel the quality is way better than the European strains available.

Each of these produced over 2 lbs. each light, all top shelf stuff. You can find my grows here on RIU under various other names.......
