Which lights?

I have been thinking about going indoor. Ive had outdoor plants but have no idea about anything indoor. I am going to have a small grow tent for probably 5 auto-flowering plants. Which type and size of light is going to be best for a good price. Thanks

one will be enough?

one hps is plenty

if you want more light get a 250 watt instead

i'd get a 600w hps if ya gonna do it make it worthwhile. and just stick 4 plants under it you'll get better results and easier to maintain.

That 150w is looking good for 80 tho haha

you can get a 600 ballast and shade for that second hand on e bay, honestly you'll wish you had.

Its really about how much wanna spend
more money spent on lights=more weed

I'm actually in the same situation right now except with just a couple plants, and i'm probably gonna go with the 400w

400 is a great light,a 600 is better and a 1000 is great but me i prefer my lovely 400

Hey Jewdub - I was using 200w CFLs...1- 6500K for veg & 1- 2700k for flower...in one of those Mylar lined 36x20x62 grow tents for a while & that worked fairly well for like 2 plants. Autoflower plants worked better for me than the photoperiod plants did with that set up, but after I switched to a 400w MH/HPS convertible ballast lighting kit the difference was remarkably obvious. Now I had to add a couple of 6" inline fans to the tent...one for intake & one for exhaust to deal with the heat, but those tents are ready-made for that kind of simple mod. You can still find those pre-wired inline fans on Amazon for like $24+ shipping each....Anyway...I guess what I'm saying is that IMO, 4 or 5 autoflowers would THRIVE under a 400w kit in a tent, as long as you managed the temps.
